I caught Lyme disease early like 3 days when a bullseye appeared on my leg. I took medication for 3 weeks. But I still have massive headaches and panic attacks. So i asked for another 3 weeks of meds I'm into the 2nd week and i still have horrific thoughts and depressions i'm affraid i'm going to hurt myself or someone else. I want my life back whats going on!! Is this even normal i'm usually a happy person is this normal to be depressed from this whats up with this desease!

Please do not take offense, but I suggest you see a psychiatrist. For some reason, you seem to have developed some psychological issues due to either fear or an overactive imagination.

By your own admissions, you were diagnosed early. Early symptoms include: fatigue, muscle and joint stiffness, a headache and swollen glands...and in some cases, a rash. That is it.

Panic attacks are totally unrelated to lyme disease. You have not progressed into later phases of the disease so the depression is also not a normal occurrence.

Feelings of hurting yourself or others are never part of this disease process! You need to get to the root of what is causing this unreasonable fear and the panic attacks. Please see a psychiatrist.
