I have this throbbing pain in my wrist that kept me up half of the night. I have no hand numbness but just very bad throbbing pain in my wrist...what do you think it could be?

I didn't injure it but do use the computer all day at work...the throbbing comes and goes...thanks for all the advice!

if youre on the computer alot its most likely RSI (repetitive strain injury) its really common and staying off the computer for a while and resting your hand usually does the trick, ive had this many times, if you do not spend prolonged times at the computer im not sure what it could be, maybe you just stretched a ligament or sprained it. either way resting it will do good

Depends on what you did the day before. Go through the things you did during the day and try to pinpoint anything involving the use of your wrist (ie: typing on keyboard).

Could be just soreness due to a straineous activity.

Possibly arthritis or a sprained, chipped, fractured, or even broken wrist. Wait another 24-48 hours and then check with your doctor to get X-Rays.

If nothing shows up on the X-Rays and it persists for more than another week, go back to your doctor or even a specialist.

depends on what you do during the day =if you use that hand a lot, the wrist could have arthritis or carpal tendril

Did you do something where you used your wrist to help catch yourself or stop something?
