I'm pretty tall, 5 ' 9 to be exact & at the beginning of this year I weighed 135pds, and I thought I looked fine, but my mother thought otherwise. She would constantly bicker at me for what I ate. And would argue with my doctor when he told her i was healthy.

She finally decided to make me go on a diet whether i liked it or not. She wanted me to get down 115. She pushed & pushed, occasionally making me go without breakfast.

I turned out like this: http://i18.tinypic.com/4xxdvls.jpg...

My clothes fit better. I was content with my new body.I didn't want to gain or lose any more. I wanted to stay at that size. Well ma had different views. Now she wants me down to 90pds.She makes me go up to 3 days without food, and only lets me drink water. I pass out a lot as result of this.

I'm a shy girl. I'm not just going to prance up to a doctor & tell them whats going on. I dont want to be taken away from her. I love my mom. But at this rate, I'll be dead by the end of the year.

btw, my mom DID suffer from a eating disorder when she was younger too which might have triggered this.

It seams to me that your mother still have some side effect of the eating disorder, and unfortunately, this time your are the victim. Try talking to your mother. Tell her that your appreciate her concern, but that you feel comfortable the way you are and that the Doctor says you are fine. Eat at school, or when you go out with friends. Try going out more often so you can eat, bring stuff to eat to your bedroom and eat it. Eat healthy!
Eating disorders can harm you. You can get chronically undernourished and it could get to the point of no return and as a consequence you will suffer the side effect of the lack of nutrients in your body.

BTW, how old are you?

Take care, and good luck to you

In your pic you look old enough to be working at a summer job - if you are, then you aren't at home for much of the day, and surely you have meal breaks?

If you are passing out, that is enough reason to see your doctor. Keep a record of what you have been eating, to show him. If your mom can't be persuaded to change the regime, you'd be better off elewhere. This is simply child abuse, whatever your age.

What does your mom do at mealtimes? Sit down at the table and make you watch? 90 lbs is way too little, don't even let her try. Stand up for yourself, girl, you are worth it.

yeaqh....the way u turned out, i think u look kinda gross...iknow u say u were content with ur new body but u also said u thought u looked fine with ur old one. u look gross in that picture....ur hip bones are sticking out. you should NOT lose anymore weight and instead gain a bit...to where you were. your mom had an eating disorder, strange, i wouldve thought she wouldve tried to make sure that u DONT have one, and instead shes trying to make u have one. listen girl, its IMPOSSIBLE for u to get down to 90 pounds, without dying first. im not being sarcastic...im being real...u wouldnt even be able to make it....talk to you mom, where is your father in all of this? talk to your mom and tell her to leave you alone and that u loved the way u looked before....tell her to listen to the doctor..if ur mom wants to do OTHERWISE and tries something like u cant eat unless its what she wants u to eat..then you need to tell someone. if u lose anymore weight u could become sickly...in that picture u are already on the verge of it....you need to tell someone, and your mom needs help. your mom may end up getting ANOTHER eating disorder...shes discontent with her daughters body, because she thinks ur not skinny enough, i wonder what she thinks about her own body. shes probably not as skinny as you now, so she probably also wants to lose weight...u need to help your mom and realize that u already look pretty, and so does she.

This is not good. You look fine now, even a bit skinny, but not too much so. 90 lbs is much, much to skinny for someone that is 5'9". That would be anxorexic. Do not get down to 90 lbs. I'm serious about this. Talk you a doctor about your mothers behavior. 90 lbs is an unhealthy and dangerous weight for any normal sized adult woman over 5' much less 5'9".

at the very least, you need to tell your friends about this. Maybe they can bring extra food to share with you at school. Maybe they will tell their parents, and their parents will call social services for you so you will be free of the guilt.

What your mom is doing is ABUSE. She may not be leaving bruises or beating you... but she is putting your health and life in danger ON PURPOSE.

SHE needs to be in therapy.

Bottom line is this... it is YOUR body... and she cannot FORCE you to lose weight. You need to fight back and tell her she is being unreasonable, and that you are not healthy.

135 was a perfectly healthy weight for you. In the pic you are beautiful, but too thin. You are already underweight.

You cannot allow your mother to continue this. You need to take action for your own health and do something abou it it NOW.

She is not only going to cause you to be too thin, but she is already messing up your metabolism which will make it harder for you to stay at a healthy weight in your future... and if it continues, you could end up in the hospital with failure of some or all of your internal organs... or worse, but just as possible, dead.

You seem like a very intelligent girl... you need to find a way to put a stop to this and get healthy again, and be comfortable for yourself, not your mom.

You do look a little too much on the thin side, but I also think you're gorgeous. I'm jealous! At 5'9" and that body, you should definitely head to some modeling agencies.
Don't drop to 90, either stay at your weight or gain some. Eat how you want...f!ck your Mom. It's one thing to eat healthy and watch what you eat, but it's another thing to practically starve yourself. Agencies will definitely frown at you if you go in there at 90lbs, especially with all of the hype. I know that your question isn't in reference to modeling or anything, but I'm trying to break into the modeling industry, and think that you should totally go for it also.

You're already just skin and bones!! She's already made you unhealthfully underweight, don't let her make you closer to anorexic-skinny. If she succeeds in getting you down to 90 pounds, you could have serious medical problems (if you don't already). I agree with the first person. You MUST contact social services. That is not right.
