Well, for a zombie like you, I'll have to make it really simple.
Imagine you know a guy, who beats his wife and children every day, goes to his neighbor's house and beats his family and steals their things. You and other people warned him to stop it, but he does it anyway. Would you "stick your nose" and teach him a lesson and help the people he is about to kill?
Well, we decided to take the bully out. We did, but his "family" is so dysfunctional now, they turned on each other and us. We are there until they learn to live in peace and to show other bad guys what will happen to them, if they do not behave. Have you noticed how Kadafi of Lebanon changed his ways right after we took care of Sadam? Have you noticed there were no terrorist attacks in our country since 9/11? Maybe they are a little afraid now?..

oh my god. will ye look at yourselves america.was it not true that these countries didnt attack america until the Bush's came into power? think about it please. And the reason lots of other countries wont get involved is because running thier own country is hard enough and wasting money in another and ******* up the world for selfish means is just pathetic.
oh ya and driving a 5ltr engine car at a maximum speed of 65mph is so dumb not even iraq want to comment!

In case you forgot, we went into Iraq because Saddam Insane was just as much a threat to us as Bin Laden. Now that we took Sadam out we have been rebuilding Iraq but mostly fighting terrorism. It's much easier to fight the terrorists when they come to you instead of invading a bunch of terrorist supporting countries

I agree...but...Dana has a point! The US goes where the purpose serves....

...currently, the purpose is to get and keep the oil before that booming Chinese market takes it all...

Think future....competition for the limited resources of the world...China vs. the US for the world's oil reserves...
...IF WE HAVE IT, THEY CAN'T GET IT!!!...

"Bush" is an OIL FAMILY...do we really think they got to be millionaires because they don't know the market? Let's get serious. They know exactly what they are doing.
...I can't say I agree with how they've done it...

Staying in Iraq is helping ourselves

your bitching and you haven't even been there.

Did you forget? WE destroyed their infrastructure, WE dismantled their government, WE disbanded their military.

Now WE owe then to at least be their to help get them standing again.

I've been there twice, and I'll go again, and again until Iraq is capable of standing on it's own two feet.

how does our nose not belong in iraq a country that if we pulled out now would become a haven of terrorist who would eventually gain nukes and blow us off the earth if u want that u are not an american. we are there because we started something and we need to finish it.

I'd rather fight the bad guys there than in our own back yard. Would you not? US has all the right to protect its citizens from harm and this is one of them.
