This is a haunting question. You turn inward. Pray and meditate. Look around you for evidence of God/Goddess' love for us. And don't worry, everyone questions their Faith at some point, especially deeply Spiritual people. Love, Light and Blessings to you.

Hmm. Sometimes faith turns into waiting for more information to come, or else an active search for more information to bolster and support that faith. Sometimes events happen, and at first you wonder where and why and how, but if you start praying for more insight, you start to see little warning signs that have come along the way, divine preparation for learning more. Then it is time to return to reading the scriptures, to be open to serving a new group of people, to praying with more sincerity than before.

Study your bible when your faith gets weak.

Romans 10:17 (New King James Version)
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Personally, I like to think that if I had Faith in a Belief, and lost my Faith in that Belief, I would either find a new Belief to have Faith in or try to justify my original Faith with FACTS.

What other options are there, if you're not referring to BLIND FAITH? If you're referring to Blind Faith, I can't advise you.

Faith doesn't stop working, we stop believing. First you need to figure out if you really believed in the first place. If not, I would start checking out other religious avenues. Otherwise, you should speak to someone within your religious organization (priest or whatever) for advice.

I end up turning back to God. The fact that I strayed away is usually why my faith stopped working.

Well, I've never completely given up on faith, but there have been multiple times that I've lacked it. It's then that I surround myself with the friends who remind me that God has a plan for my life and is always by my side.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
~Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)~

Maybe to reality-- sit back and look at the world and the universe, and think whether there is a need today for any religion based on old man-made ideas and concepts.

One lesson for me has been to realize that God doesn't always grant my wishes at the time I wish for them. But there is a Grand Overall Design (GOD) that is actively working in my life whether I know it or not.

Keep the faith. Practice Gratitude. Give thanks for the little things in life. Be silly with that, too. Give thanks to having a towel to dry your hands on, a tree to sit under, etc. Happiness comes with gratitude.

Good luck.
