First Jesus never refered to the world as flat.
Second Jesus was not only God but also a man who learned from his Father in heaven the truths that pertained to us.

He knew the Earth was round, that issue didn't get brought up when he was in Galilee and Judea.

But the book of Isaiah details Earth being round (Christopher Columbus saw that verse too before discovering America, that was how Columbus knew the world was round).

To be fair (and, just to be entirely clear, I believe Jesus to be a mythic character), would you really expect him to come to earth and be some sort of Encyclopedia Britannica? Would you realistically expect him to say something like: "It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth, at least you'll think that for the next thousand years, until someone gets on a boat and finds a continent you've never heard about and finds a plant there that has a smaller seed..."

Why would he not know it is round? Why would the scholars put something into the Bible, they didn't believe in until 1492.
I'm sure if you would have asked him, he would have told you.
I have not read any question to him that asked " Is the Earth flat or round" Right.

Oh Boy!! Here we go again!! Where in the Bible does it say that God did'nt know that the earth was round? He created it just like He created us, and He knows us intimately.

If Jesus WASN'T the Son of God, how did He know that it could be day in one part of the world, and night in another? They didn't exactly have long-distance calling back then.

"Hey Paul, what time is it where you are?"
"Oh, hey Peter, it's 4 in the afternoon."
"Huh. It's only noon here!"

And besides, "flat-earth" theory was NOT taught in the Bible.
