all of the above. i want my guy to know how to make me laugh but also be romantic at times. serious when time comes to be serious, smart. i mean every girl wants a one of a kind guy, the truth is most guys have one or the other quality. if you can find a guy that has all of them hes the one your going to want to keep, hes the one of a kind guy every girl talks about wanting. no one is perfect but thats like saying i want a girl thats just funny, or thats just pretty. you want a girl that is all of the above. just be yourself dont worry about what other women want and youll do just fine :)

Why can't it be a combination of both? If your romantic and not funny, it's going to get boring. If your funny but not romantic, then there's no point in going on a second date.
It's better for the guy to be flexible in all those good qualities women look for in a man.

My guy is rather funny which is one of the things I fell for. Sometimes I would want him to be a little more serious or romantic, though. A little of all would be the ideal!

I would like a guy to be funny, sweet, and romantic. Looks doesn't really matter but his personality and the 3 things I said do matter:)

The best type is a combination. Funny AND romantic - all when appropriate. Having just one is so boring.

I would have to say other - My guy is romantic when we are alone, funny all the time and he is also kinda tough enough so I don't ever have to worry about anyone messing with him or me. But the most important thing is he is always a sweetheart to everyone.

I'm not the romantic type so i like them funny i like someone who can keep me smiling but knows when to stop and be serious to.

When I was dating, I always pictured myself with a total romantic - dancing, flowers, long walks in the moonlight -- I dated a few like that and they never could live up to my preconceived expectations.
The man I married is a pragmatist, can't do the chicken dance, and proposed by saying "if we're gonna get married we ought to talk to my brother while he's in town so we can make sure he sets the date aside" (his brother performed the ceremony). But he does have a quirky sense of humor and we have hundreds of private jokes and love to laugh together.
I don't have the romantic guy I (thought I) wanted, and I'm glad. Instead of chocolates and flowers, I get unwavering faithfulness and trust. (They don't make me fat OR have to be thrown out after a week.)
