By lumping everyone together, you'll make a big mistake. There are more than enough Christians who dont steal or lie and also dont think homosexuality is some huge unforgivable sin (like myself). Understand that there is NO ONE who doesn't sin, no matter what title they claim or what they think is worse than another thing. Everyone sins... period. This is the main reason why we shouldnt be picking specks out of our neighbor's eye and instead, deal with the planks in our own.

It does seem like they cluster around certain sins but it is more because the Homosexuals are trying to change what a family means to the Christian. We know that it is lifestyle that is not good for children as did God. So it is one of those sins we do not want to see take hold of America. It was a sin God called an abomination...this is how God felt about it:
Abomination definition:
The feeling of extreme disgust and hatred; abhorrence; detestation; loathing;
That which is abominable; anything hateful, wicked, or shamefully vile; an object or state that excites disgust and hatred; a hateful or shameful vice
A cause of wickedness.
So, it seems that even God was more disgusted with some sins than others..not because they are any more of a sin, but some are just more digusting. This paricular act is a sin against your own body.

I do not lie, cheat, OR steal every day. Maybe once a week.
:-P
And the reason that some Christians make such a big deal about it is because it is the ONLY sin mentioned in the Bible that people are trying to say is acceptable.
I don't see anyone trying to say that adultery is okay, or that fornication is okay ("Christians, open your MINDS! There is nothing wrong with boinking as many people as you want!"), or that stealing is okay, or that lying is okay, or...get the point?
That said, I do not stress homosexuality that much. My opinion is that it's a sin like any other, but we all sin, so I have no right to judge anyone else.

"Christians" lie, cheat and steal everyday? Wow, generalize much?
PEOPLE lie, cheat and steal .. Christians are normal people, not super humans. So, I am not sure what your point is.
Sin is forgiven through repentance and God's grace. After Jesus forgave the adulterous woman, "neither do I condemn thee, GO ON AND SIN NO MORE"
Habitual sin, and unrepentant sin is all in the category, homosexuality is no different.
Sexual sins against ourselves are among the worst mentioned, because you retain body memories.
We're all equally capable of sinning, no one is exempt.

"they lie, cheat, and steal every day"
Excuse me, but I am a Christian and although I do not pretend to be perfect, I do not do all of these every day.
Those are all sins. You insinuate that Christians think that Lying Cheating and stealing are not sins.
Who taught you that? Those ARE against the law of God.
Please do not generalize so much it shows a lack of understanding and hatred against others with nothing to back it up.
Peace be with you!

John says little young ones sin no longer yet once you sin you have an recommend with the father who's Jesus. So no count number in case you bypass to church each and every Sunday or any day or days interior the week, you shouldn't blatantly sin by using fact God will forgive you. you shouldn't sin, by using fact you like God too lots to wish to break him. we are able to fall at cases, yet that's what God grow to be speaking approximately, no longer likely around sinning by using fact grace is there, God has no area with habitual sinners, yet with people who're battling sin and want to get out.

The Bible portrays all sin as deadly because all sin separates us from God. Consequently, there is no spiritual distinction among the sins you listed. Christians sin like everyone else because they, like everyone else, are in the same fallen state. The distinction is that Christians acknowledge sin to be just that - sin - and seek forgiveness from God for the sake of Christ.

I am a Christian who has never said that homosexuals were sinning, nor have I ever criticized them.
Why are you picking on Christians? There are people of other religions who treat homosexuals badly.
I do NOT cheat, steal, or lie every day.
I dare you to prove that.
SHOW us some statistics, ok?
I want to see a spreadsheet showing the percentages of all people who lie, steal, and cheat everyday. How do they cheat? What do they lie about?
Do you have statistics showing thefts/robberies committed by Christians?
Hmmmm?
Prove it, dude.

No sin is greater than another. The seven deadly sins are simply things that will kill the body. All sin will kill the soul. Homosexuality just happens to be a target of hatred by people who claim to be Christians.

Why do non believers constantly see Christians portraying it as being "worse" all sin is bad, no matter which it is. But being gay is just like being a single straight person, if they don't act on their urges.
Gays are only sinning when they sodomize and look at each other with lust...same as straight people. If straight people lust or sodomize they're sinning the same as gay people do...
Hate the sin, love the sinner....simple as that.
