I want to lose about 4 pounds in 5 days. So I am thinking I drink about a gallon of water a day and dont eat so much on meals and snacks because I am full on water. Water has no calories and can oly help right? Of course I will be spending time outside and excercising, so I need lots of water any way. So does that sound liek a good plan>?
Yes, I know about water poisoning, but I dont plan to go to that extent.

I know it definitely helps since water will bring down your body temperature and so your body will burn calories to bring the temperature up. It also helps in the digest and processing of fats and calories. You should also consider intaking some energy and protein sources so your body can function and actually loose weight. I highly recommend eating lots of fruits, vegetables and some almonds. That'll keep you strong, healthy and I'm sure you'll drop those four lbs in no time at all. Good luck!!

You don't want to lsoe weight quickly because you'll put it right back on. Eat healthy, (1200 to 1500 calories daily) drink water, & exercise faithfully each day. A safe way to figure the water you can drink daily, is to take your body weight, divide it in two, & that's the number of ounces you can drink safely. The more weight you lose, the less water you'll have to drink. Water flushes out all the impurities in your body & allows you to lose weight.

Depends on how skinny you are. If you're just trying to flatten your stomach, drink a bottle of water and eat a piece of fruit every couple of hours until you go to bed. That worked for my friend when she was doing this modeling show. Again though, she was skinny and 4lbs were actually noticeable. Drinking a gallon of water a day would make you all bloaty.

Drinking too much time water at a time can get you really sick. If you want to lose weight that quickly try a fast diet. You can probably find infomation on a safe way to do this on a medical website. If not, ask a doctor.

No, not per se. But if you eat light and drink water when you feel like snacking thats where the benefit is. Take some long walks. If you don't burn extra calories you won't loose weight.

listen water may not have any calories but it doesn't have anything good for you either. you need your vegetables your fruit your meat and your bread EVERYDAY or you will be VERY UNHEALTHY. yes, water is good for a drink but you need food. you don't even want to know how many servings of vegetables, fruit, meat, and bread you need everyday. my advice is why don't you talk to your Doctor and tell him/her you want to go on a diet. he will first tell you if you need the diet and if he does agree you need to lose some weight he will tell you the stuff you should eat and drink when your on that diet. hope my advice works!

I think water does help you lose weight, but I don't think you will lose that much in 5 days. If you keep at it though eventually you will see a difference. Good luck. :)

you can actually die from drinking to much water. u will drown.
it sounds funny but it happened to a lady around here who had a contest to see who could drink the most water, she won but later that night she died from drowning. i dont know how it happens but it does happen.
so dont drink alot in one day or that will happen to you. you gotta eat and exericse right to lose weight, water will help but not like you think.

Do this:

Drink a bottle of water just before you eat something. It will make you not eat as much.

well dont just focus on water also exercise eat the greens like veggies and fruit also no carbs after 3o clock my mom told me that and shes 48 2 kids and103 pounds!!!!!!!
