everyone said i wasn't going to be able to lose 30+ pounds in 6-7 weeks. i'm almost hitting week 7 and i've already lost almost 40 pounds.......
how did that happen? i've been walking 6 hours a day, doing sit ups and dancing, and eating as little as possible, BUT i'm sleeping 12 hours a day.
people said it's impossible because my body will get used to it and my stomach needs food to lose weight, if so, how did it happen?
i know i'll gain it back but i'm freakin happy

Please remember that you are still growing and you should not cut back too severely on food. If I were you, I would keep a food diary so you will at least get 1200 calories a day. Believe me, I am so happy for you that you lost the weight but I don't want you to cause damage to your bones. There is a smart way to go about it and if you eat very healthy and clean, you will never have to gain it back. Good Luck! Now, go put that bikini on, because you know you look good in it! : )

Your body can do things like that because your so young. What you don't realize is the damage your causing. One day its going to be impossible to lose a pound after what your putting your body through now. Your overdoing it, with not eating well. Your body is going to adjust to that and then guess what? All you can do is walk 12 hours a day just to keep your weight down. You may can do that now with all ease, but wait til the woes of life kick in. You won't have half that kind of time.

Maybe because you are eating ' as little as possible' ..and you are walking a lot! That's probably why..because most people start with only 2 or 3 days/week of exercise. But beware, if you continue to eat very little, your body will store the only food you put into your body (even vegetables etc.) as a fat because it thinks it is starving. It would be better to stick with a well balanced diet or fruits veggies and whole grains. Keep up the exercise though! Good Luck!

You did right that's how, but stay over 1200 calories. Below that is potentially injurious to your health.
