The price seems a little on the low side, but it is worth it to go and look at the truck. Depending on the condition and equipment, it may be priced correctly, or it may even be overpriced!
If it looks good to you (It may be rough looking at that price) take it to your own independent mechanic to have it checked out. If the dealer will not allow you do do that (during the day, locally, at your own expense) run from the deal!
You may be able to get a good deal.
Note to James Dean,
Next time you want to buy a vehicle, please contact me. If you will pay that much for this truck, I want to be the one to sell you a vehicle. A few customers like you, and I could retire!!! LOL

Take the VIN number and check with Carfax yourself, online.
Bear in mind tho, it's already 4 years old and soon 5. If it was purchased in 2002, add another year, of use.
I doubt that the mileage is false, but could be.
Try to take it for a drive for a couple hours. Arrange a time to see a reputable mechanic and have him check it over for wear spots, new or worn pedals, frame damage etc. It will be worth a fee.
If all is well, sounds like a steal.

it has to be a 2 wheel drive, but that is a great price, have the dealer show you the carfax and the current title to make sure it is not salvage or rebuilt title...I would recommend taking someone with you that knows something about vehicles and have them ride it with you on a test drive and check it over for previous damages or repairs.
a quick little trick is to raise the hood and look at the two bolts on either side that attach the hood to the hinges if the paint on the bolt heads is worn off, it means the hood has been off for either a replacement hood from body damage or the motor has been pulled, if the paint still is perfect on the bolts you can probably rule out major front end damage or engine work.

Yes this sounds way to good to be true, in fact it cant be...there is something wrong so be careful. Depending on the equipment and motor that truck if its nice is worth between $14500 and $20500...a diesel is at the higher range. Im not sure what else to tell you but be careful.

if it sounds like a good deal, ask them if you can take it to your own mechanic for a diagnostic. It's worth spending the extra money for the price you'd be getting the vehicle at.

Use CarFax. To make sure the title to the truck is not a salvage title.

Doesn't sound bad. You could research a comp on Edmunds.com to see if it's out of line. I bought my car used with 58000 miles on it @ 6 years old for less than that. This one is getting close to 5 years old.

Sounds kinda low to me but it is a 5 year old car (2003's came out in 2002)
I checked the blue book value on it and it should be around $11500 for private party price.

No, that seems pretty reasonable to me. My car had about 50,000 miles on it when we bought it from Hertz. It was in really, really good condition, and it was about 10 or 11 grand, too.

It does sound too good to be true to me. A truck's value will last longer than a cars.
That truck is worth atleast 25 thousand....ATLEAST.
Something is wrong.
