Unfortunately, no. Even if you speak from their perspective, even if you use their own words against them... it doesn't seem to get through. There are obviously exceptions, but very few.

It should be simple, but it's not.

Only when applied to a certain aspect of that faith. Never about the religion, overall.

Yes, but then I do have an odd way of looking at the world, and communicating my ideas.

I did even in the days that I did talks and sermons.

Yea its more a less a way to get you to shut up. They then forget about what you taught them not 5 minutes after you talk.

yeah i say it sometimes...its just to move on to something else...why argue about something that someone strongly believes in...i know there is a God...i believe it in my heart...but if someone else doesnt then thats on them...not me!!!
