Make sure the spedo Alternating current generator sender is spinning. Have some one watch the spedo remove the sender and spin the gear run you hand across the gear to turn... you should get some movement on the dash spedo. next step volt meter check the sender A/C volts more Volts the faster it is spun. Next check wiring to the instrument cluster. Some times the sender gear is worn some times the out put shaft gear is not turning with the drive shaft. Good Luck

First, I'm assuming a few things here:
1. The transmission that came with the SR already had the speed sensor installed.
2. The wiring harness is JDM and is wired up correctly (no bad connections, etc.)
3. Digital speedometer w/ hud

With that said, try swapping the speed sensor that came in the SR mission with the one from your KA mission. I specified digital speedometer because that's the only one I've had experience with.

Hope this helps

I'm not sure about the s13 chassis, but when I swapped an SR redtop into my 1995 240sx I had to use my entire lower wiring harness and speedo sensor. Good luck!
