OMG! The question of the century!!! I've answered many questions like this before.... And my answer is yes! If you really feel comfortable and like each other, then I'd say go for it!! In this case, the age doesn't matter because he's only 3 yrs. older than you. But don't worry, that's nothing. My aunt is actually dating a 41 yr. old guy and she's 25! But she really likes him, so she doesn't care at all.

Speeding and jaywalking are illegal too, that doesn't make them morally "wrong".
Having **SEX** with a 16 year old would be illegal, and that's not what this questions asks.
i don't think it's morally wrong, it's only a 3 year difference. However, a 3 year difference can be a HUGE one when they're teenagers. Theoretically the 19 year-old is thinking about or going off to college, which is an entirely different world than high school, and the 16 year-old still has a few years in high school. But MORALLY, it's not wrong. The parents of the teens should just keep a close eye on them- which is what they should be doing anyway.

If both the people are mature enough for the relationship there should be no problem with it. And no "dating" is not illegal, however, the age of consent can change from state to state and there are different laws regarding that. Most people think the age of consent is 18 but in alot of states it's 16. I'm actually in a similar situation because I'm dating a 17 year old and I'm 20 and we met last year, and yes i get alot of **** for it but she's a really cool girl and we get along great. And she's the first girl i've dated younger than me, but we were friends before anything happened between us.

by law it is. but if the 16yr old is mature and ready for a relationship with an older guy its just 3 years/ if you were 18 and him 21 no one would say nothing about it.you just have to think of him going to jail. lots of guys have been labled child molesters for being with 15 and 16 yr old girls when they were just 18....also some girls 16 are getting married at this day and time so no i don't think you should worry about it. just be careful.

depends on what state you are from a 16 year old and a 19 year old is only 3 years... think about those people who are 10 years apart when they get married... 45 and 35 you people wouldnt think it was so gross then would ya... love is love reguardless of age.... there is exceptions of course.... the rule is your age cut in half then add 7.....

I do because a 19 year old is legally considered an adult, a 16 year old is not. I know that age doesn't matter, but when it comes to teenagers, it really does!

No not at all! The problem is poeple who are let's say, 28 dating a 42 year old! Now that is not right!

it really depends.
if th guy is 16 and the woman is 19 and the woman has a level head and her intentions are not sexual.
thank it's ok if they hang out.
