All things arise due to causes and conditions, are changing and impermanent. Don't worry about the end of the world, work on wisdom, altruism, compassion, etc. now, while you're still alive.

a million. The CERN LHC would be operational returned with the aid of the top of September 2009. this might properly be an exceptionally significant examine gadget for worldwide technology, and we could constantly be wishing CERN all the main suitable in getting it back on line. 2. the worldwide has existed for 4 billion years. Is it lifelike to anticipate that it will come to an bring about below 4 years? And all because of the fact of a Mayan calendar? Use some basic experience, particularly than being scared. the main suitable astronomical activities in 2012 would be an annular eclipse of the solar on 2012 might 20, an entire eclipse of the solar on 2012 Nov 13, and a transit of the planet Venus around the face of the solar on 2012 Jun 06. Scientists do no longer anticipate something out of the traditional to take place interior the 365 days 2012, or notably on the date December 21, apart from the solstice, which occurs each 365 days. not one of the "envisioned" happenings for 2012 postpone below close scrutiny. "Planet X" and "Nibiru" merely do no longer exist. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, yet there have been no predictions of the top of the worldwide. The solar does not line up with the galactic centre; it extremely is 6 levels off. No asteroids or comets are actual envisioned to hit Earth. All of those products became into prepare with the aid of crackpots so as to sell their books and television exhibits, and shamelessly promoted with the aid of the historic previous Channel. do no longer take any of it heavily!

People confuse the "end of the world" which occurs after the 1000 year Millenial reign with the end of the present age which occurs at the beginning of the Millenial Kingdom when Christ returns.

We are not given a specific date for Christ's return. But I think the point of the Millenial Kingdom is to show how God would govern the fallen world under a theocracy. It ends with the second rebellion which shows that even if God ruled the world directly people would still rebel.

Then the earth will be destroyed with fire and there will be a new heavens and earth without sin, which will be a paradise, which shows that the problem of sin can't be solved through rule and regulation, but through transformation and elimination.

We do not know the hour or day it will happen.Only God does.

The proof is in the Bible, mostly Revelations.
We can't prevent it but with fervent prayer the Lord could give us more time.

It will happen to rid this world of unbelievers like in the day of Noah. He told everyone what was coming and they scoffed until the constant rain started, then it was too late.
ALWAYS be prepared, not just for the end of the world or rapture. We could die tomorrow.

No one knows when it will happen, not even Christ. It Cannot be "Prevented" as it will be the "End of the Angelic Conflict". As Scripture has NEVER been Proven Wrong, I need not offer further support for it! John

Astrophysicists have calculated that in about five billion years the sun will begin losing it's energy and will expand beyond the orbit of earth. It is not likely that earth will be destroyed but it's orbit will be displaced and it will no longer be habitable. There is no proof of this of course it is simply our best calculation with what we know today. No. We cannot prevent it so we need to get working on some better rocket ships.

-No one knows.
-No one has proof.
-Some religions believe we can postpone it through our actions.
-Variety of reasons. The only ones I can agree with are things like an astroid hitting the Earth, we upset the balance of nature causing our extinction, the sun burns out, etc.
