My dad passed away in October, And since he passed I've only had like 5 dreams of him. But every dream he's in, he doesn't speak. He just looks at me with this grin. and in a way I love it because it's so real. I wake up and feel so great because I feel like He was with me..but at the same time...I feel like really upset. Why wont he say anything?! If he's there in my dreams w/ me...why wont he tell me he's okay?

My sister had the same problem, where he wouldn't talk in her dreams either. But she recently had a dream of him where he told her he was okay..and reassured her that she was on the right track in life.

Im frustrated partly because I dont know what to believe.. My dreams could just be dreams..and nothing more. But it could also (Id like to believe) be my dad coming to me. .. If you believe that loved ones who have passed can come to you in your dreams, what do you suggest I do to have him talk to me?

p.s My sister *Who was verrry skeptical up to the point where she had her dream* said she thinks she got a sign from him because she often talks to him out loud..and not just in her head like me. Think that would make a difference?

I personally believe that it truely is them coming to you to speak to you or give you a message in your dreams, my brother came to me in my dream and he just said there with me and didn't say anything at all but it was nice, so just let it flow, i have only had 2 dreams of fhim and the other one he spoke and i deffinately think that they are sending messages to you, so if he just smiling, be pateint and sometimes you can just tell what it is they are trying to accomplish, he may just be trying to comfort you if he is smiling.

I believe that, yes, loved ones can contact you in your dreams. My cousin passed when he was 20 (I was 18), and I have had dreams about him. I also speak to my ancestors from time to time. I believe that they are with me at times to help me through.

For example, I research my family tree. I was struggling with my maternal grandfather's line. I spoke out loud to him asking him and his family for help...some direction...where do I need to go? Not a week later, I made a new connection with his side and learned some new information. I don't think it was a coincidence!!

I also ask for help locating graves at cemeteries. I say something like "point me in the right direction." I go to cemeteries a bunch for my research. You may want to go to where he is buried and have a "talk" with him. Trust me...it will, if nothing else, give you a connection to him. Tell him that you need to know that you are on the right track.

Good luck. I am sorry to hear of your loss. My parents are still here, but I have lost all of my grandparents. I can't imagine the loss.

How can you be sure that it is your dad?To be on the right track, one must believe in Jesus.Have you spoken to your father about that?
If it is your dad,he should stay.If it is something else,he will act as if you have thrown hot grease on him.
It is something to consider, since evil spirits can impersonate your dad.
If it is your dad,he will love you and tell the truth. If it is not your dad,he will leave you alone after you mention Jesus a few times.

Sometimes, dreams reflect your past relationship with your dad arised good or bad experiences. However, some dreams are manipulated by his qarin or jinn who disguised itself as your father to decide what sort life to persue for you.
Remember that there is truth behind it because your past experience with your dad played an important part of your life. Try to remember it because someone wants to take that place.

My mother passed away at twelve and she frequently came to me in dreams . The smile your Dad has ,says it all, he is letting you know he is ok and sending his love. You cannot make your Dad talk ,apparently it takes alot of energy for a spirit to lower their vibration to earth level to speak to us. However you can speak to him in your mind let him know you are happy he if fine and share your feelings. there really is no separation after death, only the body is not functioning but the spirit lives on.

I'm really sorry to hear your father has passed on, my mom died in Dec. I know the frusteration of having dreams where they dont talk. I have had only 3 dreams with my mom in them since she died, hwoever in one of my dreams she was with Elvis (her favorite person ever) so I knew she was ok. There are little ques in my dreams that let me know she' ok and thinking about me even if she doesnt speak.

My father's been "gone" for 10 years. I still have dreams with him in it.
Many people (ministers included) tell me that it is God's way of communication with us. He is using some one we know to communicate some thing that we need to know. A hidden danger of some sort.

Keep track of your dreams...refer back to them and see.

IDK. The last time I saw my dad alive, we had a disagreement about me moving so many times in my job.

The next time, I was at his funeral.

I felt guilt for many years. Then one night he was standing by my bed with a smile.
Since that time, I've felt at peace within myself.
