get another job offer with better pay and benefits is it worng to quit the job you just started or should you just stay at the first job?

no, not at all. nothing wrong just be honest,tell them that a job you wanted just called you back and it has better jon benefits and salary. they may counter with soemthing better or you mayjust want to leave. either way, as soon as you accept the new job be honest.

Don't be stupid. If the company you work for had a choice to keep you as an employ or boost stock price by firing you tomorrow what do you think they would do? A senseof loyalty is stupid when corporate America operates on the simple principle of bottom line first. Do what makes you the most money, that's what companies do and that what you should do. For all you know your division is about to be sold or closed tomorrow and they will never tell you until the pink slips are ready.

If a company loses money or decides to lower their profit margin and they give you a pink slip, is it wrong? Come on! Think??? This is your life... Take the job that will take you the farthest!

Corporations and companies don't have real personalities, you can't hurt their feelings, you can only make logical decisions about your life. Do it! You'll feel better in the morning.

It kinda depends on how 'sure' I am of job #2. If it is really, really good, and you KNOW you won't be leaving that one, too.....take it. But, you don't want to get the reputation of a 'job hopper'. You would also be burning bridges with job #1, and you need to consider all the possible ramifications of doing that.

Just talk to your currant employer and tell him of your job offer. If he really likes you and wants to keep you he may make you the same or better offer to stay. That's what happened to my son when he had the same problem.

I have done this before. As long as you didn't sign a non-compete agreement I would switch companies and be honest with your current employer as to why you are leaving. My first employer is currently a customer because I didn't burn the bridge. Good luck.

If it's a lot better, then go ahead and take the second one. It's awkward but not immoral to quit the one you just started.

As they would not hesitate to lay you off to save a few bucks, there is no reason not to take the better job.

No, it's not wrong. You are basically on three-months' probation anyway, so don't feel guilty - someone who really wanted your job can now have it. Best of luck to you :o)
