It drives me crazy as well. I am aware that a signal light means only that the signal light is flashing. I don't know if things have changed but I was told when learning to drive that a left indicator could mean the driver was using the first exit on a roundabout. No signal was an indication that they were taking the second exit, But they might not be and a right indicator suggested that he was going to use any other exit. I was told that when you approach your exit signal left. My signals always indicated what I was going to do. Anyone else's should be treated with suspicion. Up to now it has served me in good stead. I was always told that everone else was an idiot always. That I was one only sometimes

To me, not indicating means going straight ahead. I not so much concerned with others not indicatin - as a professional driver I expect it. I am more bothered about those who don't seem to know you must give way to the traffic entering the roundabout from your immediate right. They just seem to close their eyes and put their foot down, particularly on mini-roundabouts, which they see as simply a blob of paint.

I see people indicating right at roundabouts...they are in the right hand lane then as they get past the first left exit they indicate left...so all along they where heading straight ahead...that's more annoying....and the majority of people are in such a big hurry that they don't bother indicating at their exit...the days of people thinking about what they are doing when they are driving are going fast

Because THEY know where they are going, seems to me to be the only reasonable explanation.
Or maybe it's some new kind of game - "You guess which way, and I'll try to fool you by going in the wrong lane"!

I know what you mean! Like it takes much effort to move a finger. It's so annoying sitting there wondering where they are going only for them to turn left. It's dangerous to.

It wouldn't matter so much if they'd use the right lane, but apparently I'm the only person in Kent who knows which lane to use. Ok, slightly over the top perhaps, but it seems like it sometimes.

Who knows, laziness, ignorance or just plain rudeness. It's my pet driving hate too.
