My first baby weighed 8lb 15 oz and my second baby weighed 10 lb 0 oz.
My sister's first baby weighed 10 lb 10 oz, her 2nd baby weigh 10 lb 2 oz, and her 3rd baby weighed 9lb 6 oz. So in her case they got smaller.

Hi,
I have 2 girls weighing 9lbs and 10 lbs at birth.
I was overweight and very overweight during those pregnancies. But I do a lot of walking like 2 hours a day. An hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon.
Are you afraid the baby will be big and would have difficulty in giving birth or that the baby will be small and underweight?
Anyway, just eat nutritious food, have some exercise and stop worrying. As the doctor assured you, believe and smile. The baby will come out beautiful.Congratulations!

I wiegh 120 normally and I was at 160 when I had my son a yr ago. He wieghed 6lb 10oz. My good friend is my size and she gained 100 lbs on her first and her next one (5 mo ago) just gained 40. You never know?? I read when I was pregnant (dont remember where, but was a pregnancy book I bought) that if you already are large, you will gain mostly towards the begining and middle and start to slow towards the end. I dont think 20 pounds is too much as of now because you only have 3 mo to go. Good Luck and congradulations!!

my son was 7 14, and i didn't gain any weight at all. This baby I have gained 8 lbs (i'm 7 months), and I don't anticipate any big difference. order of birth has no determination on a baby's size, but girls are generally 1/2 lb lighter than boys.

1st girl 7lbs 15 oz - 3 days late
2nd girl 7lbs 11oz - 1 week early.
And I was starting out 100lb each. I didn't gain much either( 21 and 25 lbs) and I still have 2 good size girls. And my neighbor is 6' and big build and she had smaller boys. Hard to judge. I think your second will be close to your 1st one but that's a wild guess...GL.
BTW, my daughter is a finalist in a national contest. Could you vote 5 stars for please. Many thanks..

Not true. Actually, the ideal weight for full pregnancy is 25. so you are not that bad...but still keep an eye, because to loose it after..!!!!!! ay caramba is so hard!!!!!
My first born was 7 11, and my second one 6 11, see, it;s not true. both are girls, though. Boys are little heavier and bigger but could be the same with the second ones......Congratulations if you are pregnant!!

My first baby was a boy and he was 8.3 my second (also was a boy) and he was 8.3 1/2 and my last one was a girl and she was 7.8 but also only 18 inches long. Girls nornally are smaller but I've never heard anything about the 2nd being bigger.
