I would deffinetly get something that is something you both love together and personally (that way if anything should happen.... you will both be content).

I think you should get something to do with your vows. maybe "till death" then put the anniversary date underneath or the first day you met/went on a date. Also "trust" might be nice in a japanese writing like Kanji.

Hope it doesnt hurt too much!

(Ps. tip: if you get asian writing dont really on websites, ask someone you trust and also i would suggest getting it all black and filled in)

Kanji has a "love" symbol. But make sure that your artist knows how to do kanji correctly. One misplaced ink stroke can change the whole meaning of Kanji symbols.

But I would suggest getting something meaningful. Maybe you honeymooned in some tropical place...make your own symbol to represent that....palm tree, sun, beach ball/umbrella...whatever.

Get a small symbol of "forever" or "love" or something that you and your husband both agree on... or even get something that finishes the other... like a heart/lock with a key [not that but you know what i mean]!! Good luck*

Find something you both like and has some meaning to you both - it doesn't have to make sense to other people, just to the two you. (even if all it means is you have matching tattoos)

My husband and I did that a few years ago - same design in the same spot.

Maybe you could do the date the you got married, or each initials, maybe even each others names in another language so people could ask what it means. You could do something that reminds you of each other.

Tattoos often last longer than relationships. You might not think so, but ask your artist how many names he has had to cover up. Even if it is not a name you will probably have to explain the tattoo to your next EX.

well I would recommend getting something that is meaningful not to both of you not really a symbol but somethign that means something to you both for example my husband and I refused to get names on our bodies and we got something that was for eachother but only we knew about it and they are not the same just importnat to us!
