Do Baptists believe in Karma? Because I'm Southern Baptist and I don't believe in Karma because I believe on faith. And that Faith has to do with everything. So I was wondering if Baptists believed in Karma? TIA!

I would say no, we do not believe in Karma as it is described in a worldly sence.

God states that it rains on the just and the unjust. No Karma there.

God states that if we perservere and keep the faith, we will spend eternity with him. No Karma there.

Bad things may happen, Good things may happen, but through it all, we give the glory to God and we know that our place has been reserved for us in the bookof Life. No Karma just truth.

I was raised in a Baptist church and I'm pretty sure they don't believe in karma. Sounds like what you believe is very similar to them.

I don't fall for things like karma or luck......God is in control of it all.

I'm curious though.........why question us baptists on this only?
No Christian should believe in karma....regardless of the denomination

everyone would believe in karma if they knew what it really meant.

all karma is is the sum of your actions. it is not a law, promising reward or punishment. it is not "what goes around comes around"

check wikipedia on this--they actually got it right.

If by karma you mean "what goes around comes around," here is the reference:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7)

Individuals might.
It isn't a Christian belief though. It comes from Eastern religious philosophies found in Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.

karma is not luck
it is the belief that what you do will come back to you
it is true--do good things--good things come back to you
do bad things bad things come back to you--
its similiar to do unto others..................etc.
if you dont believe that but you believe water can be made into wine............... who is smarter here?
