did you actually get confirmation that your HHG shipment was in town? if the movers themselves didn't call you to arrange a drop off time, then it isn't here yet, regardless of when it was scheduled to be there.

First of all, a lot of times there is an unavoidable delay...an accident on the highway, and the truck is stuck in traffic. Instead of pissing everyone off, by calling a million times, have some control. AND plan better next time. Wait till 3:30 and if the transportation person calls back, thank them for going out of their way for dealing with a crazy person. If you don't get satisfaction, contact the base chaplin, or your sailors organization, they might be able to help.

The local transportation office is the place to call. If worst comes to worst get an inflatable bed and camp out in the quarters. There should be a 'Lending Closet' on the post, not sure what the Navy would call it. The Lending closet will have stuff like cribs, pots, pans, kitchen stuffs to time you over.
Make sure you dont leave the quarters, just keep pestering the heck out of transportation.

I have had the military moving experience multiple times. If you have been in contact with TMO then they can get in contact with the people who have your stuff. IF TMO CAN NOT HELP YOU. Then contact your Sponsor's (i.e. sailor) office on the base. Even though they are deployed they have staff who remain at the base. Trust me if you go in then they will make some calls and make something happen. Once before when I moved we had our shipment (stuff) delayed- it happens (especially when you move from a country to another). Hopefully this will help you out a little.
Ohh by the way- you should be able to get extended at lodging on base (due to your current issue- you will more than likely get reimbursed. Your Sailor will have to deal with financing on that...
Once again good luck and enjoy your new home:)

Ask the transportation office to extend your hotel stay until your stuff arrives.
