By dark arts I assume that you mean you want to learn "the craft." It is a good idea to find out more about the real basis for the spiritual path as opposed to just making assumptions based on TV or film.
If you really want to learn about pagan religions a good place to start is:
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner

This will be helpful if you want to learn about the religion AND you want to do so without having to involve family members who may not approve.
best wishes

First off, Dark Arts is fairy tale. There are plenty of good books out there about occult and ritual magic but no "dark arts". Occult has a negative connotation through sociological conditioning and is far from dark. If it is dark you want lock yourself in a room, turn out all the lights, grab some crayons and go to town. If you want some knowledge you can try anything by Israel Regardi. You are going to have to step up a notch on the vocabulary tree because his books are very articulate and well thought out. They cover ranges of material from Kabbalah to Egyptian Ritual Magic and Sacred Geometry. Again, I don't think you know what it is that you're looking for and once you find it you're going to be surprised at what it actually is.

Most dark art practitioners seek knowledge from nonhuman sources perhaps if you could contact one of them (perhaps Yahweh or one of his minions) they could be of limited help. I assume this is about power.
A true Theist seeks knowledge from nonhuman sources as well, but not for power for love. Inspiration from the divine is preferable so if you seek Christ and the Revelation of the Holy Spirit for love then power is an incidental side effect.
I hope this helps
Blessed Be!

Holy cow everyone beat me to the Snape answer!
But keep in mind that he has always been rejected as the DADA professor. I'd go with Voldemort.

Try a black crayon with a white piece of paper. I hope this is what your referring to. If you mean contacting demons you should probably contact a satanist. They know that there is power there more than most Christians realize the Power they have through Jesus Christ.

Have you tried the Yellow Pages? Look under Dark Artist, just a suggestion (and a feeble attempt at humor)!
