It would seem to me that the job isn't done, and that our military has to stay in until our objectives have been achieved.

Because it is our policy that has enable Al Queda to be as strong as ever. The Iraq war has been a boom to Al Queda. We create terrorist faster than we can kill them.
We kill terrorist at retail; we create them wholesale.

We need to pull out because 500 Billion dollars and 5 years later Al Qeada is strong as ever before. That means our current strategy does not work at all. It's like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.

Iraq never was the issue. While we misallocate resources in a country that never has and never was going to attack us Osama roamed free and Al Qeada grew strength where they always resided,...in Afghanistan. This President is a disaster. Pull out of Iraq and refocus on Osama and Al Qeada.

If it isn't helping any that we're there, why stay in? We're beating our heads against a stone wall, the Iraqi government isn't meeting the goals it promised to meet. We're in the same shape we were in during Vietnam--we can't tell who the "good guys" are, and things are going downhill no matter what we do. We don't have clear-cut goals anymore, and we're sitting right in the middle of a civil war with no guarantee that it's ever going to end. All we're doing is wasting the lives of the soldiers who are forced to be over there on multiple tours.

OK, I would agree with that if our forces were actually in Afghanistan. You see, Iraq is about 2000 miles away. With Iran in between. Get the picture? We actually have to go to Aghanistan to do something about Afghanistan. Btw, it is common knowledge that the terrorists now in Iraq came there only after we invaded. We leave. They leave. There strength is along the Afghan/Pakistan border.
