OMG - that is SOOOO sweet! :)
Instead of just having you, why not have you and some friends and family there. You in a tux and ready to get down on one knee with the ring! :) Have someone there to take pictures! :)
Good luck! :)

I love these!!! When guys post their proposal questions, I just think it's so great. But the scavenger hunt idea is being used so much these days, I'm afraid she may catch on. Here's what I suggest: create a "time capsule" that you "bury" in your backyard. Take her to the backyard and tell her about this capsule you buried a while back, then dig it up and go through the contents: a pic from when you were a boy, your high school graduation yearbook, anything from your childhood up until now. Tell her you thought about putting something from her in the capsule, but changed your mind. She'll ask why...and that's when you tell her that the capsule is your past - and she is your future.
Then pull out the ring!!
Anyway, this is just a suggestion from a total stranger - but yes, the scavenger hunt is a great way to propose, and if you think it's the best way, then totally go for it!
Good luck, though I don't think you'll need it :o)

My friend proposed this way. He went to the mall, bought an item for several different stores, each had some meaning to the couple. The first clue he sent her flowers that day at work which led her to the mall. Then each store she went to, they had the gift he previously purchased along with another clue. (all the stores she went to were downstairs, he was able to watch from upstairs without her knowing he was there). The last clue from the mall led her to a restaurant where they went on their first date. She thought that was the surprise. After dinner, he took her to a small lake (had another couple there so they could take pictures) and he pulled out the ring and proposed. The icing on the cake was, he had already arranged an engagement party. So after he proposed they went home and there was all their family and friends! I think it's a great idea if it's planned out well.

Start off by sending her a single rose with a note telling her where to go, like the spa or someplace like that, that you have prepaid. Then have the employees there give her another rose with a note telling her to go to another place like Bath and Body Works, where you have picked her out her favorite scent or gift package and have it ready with another rose and note telling her to go to get a manicure and pedicure, where you have left another rose and note... and on and on until the last stop where you have left a note for her to meet you at her favorite restaurant, which is where you have the last rose and the best gift, her ring.....hope this helps

if you are close to a beach then have each stop have things to do with the beach..towel, sunscreen..that kinda of stuff. OR a picnic in the park, have each stop have different "picnic" items. This is a very cute way to propose, she'll love it.

i think that's a very creative way to do it. i would be excited if my guy would think of that sort of thing. my luck he'll throw the ring box at me and say "here see if that fits ya" lol
it's a great idea!!!
i bet if you had her running around town you could get the local newspaper to cover it and take pics of her going here and there.

That sounds wonderful! You should probably start at the place where you met, then go to the place where had your first date and go from there. I wish my husband were that romantic!

I think that is a great idea. It is cute, memorable, and romantic. Try and make some of them silly so she is laughing and smiling. Good luck. Love the idea.
