Well there is a fine line between clingy and caring about someone so much you want to be with them alot.
I think that what other people think don't matter its what you think and feel that matter. And if you honestly think he is clingy then tell him!! don't leave it, don't go o' there is nothing wrong and put up with it, and I am sure that if he loves you enough then he will back off a bit.
Clingy ness doesn't always mean they don't trust you, sometimes it means that they love you too much and they always want to be with you, but what ever you do, don't bite his head off, just ask him nicely to give you some space.
Its natural to be confused about things, just think things through thorughly and explore all routes and possibilities.
And unfortuately no-one is liked by everyone there is always going to be people that don't like him, for having long hair, for having a different type of music taste, for their friends etc...
its really sad that we all can't get along, but thats the way the world is, and you are just going to have to face it

Hope this helps

I've always wanted a man to be clingy. What's the problem? Reli, reli, what is?

CLingy b/f's aren't good. It's a minor sign he might be controlling. Tell him, u like him/really care about him. But you need "Me Time" too. Let him know you will never neglect spending time with ur friends for any guy.
If you do, that's when they really start making you alienate ur friends and family.
Take Care and Good Luck!

Just tell him he's too clingy and you need some space. If he really loved you, he would understand.

Yes. because a little attention is good, not a damn leech. He needs better trust skills and if he doesn't realize it himself, there is nobody better to tell him than you.
