I would trust an atheist much sooner than I'd trust a theist. Atheists often have intellectual honesty and critical thinking skills that make for good conversation. Also atheists are statistically much, much less likely to commit acts of violence or crime, less likely to have stds (300x less likely in point of fact), less likely to have teen pregnancy or divorce, etc.
By all accounts atheists are good, trustworthy people to an extent the faithful simply are not.

Yes. I don't judge people by the label that is their belief system. I look at individuals and see how they act towards myself and others. Aside from which, I am an atheist.

I am a christian and I would trust an atheist. They don't understand Christ it doesnt mean they are a bad person. I wouldnt trust them only if they gave me a reason not to trust them

Isn't it taught to love thy neighbor. So if an atheist is your neighbor shouldn't you trust him until he breaks your trust? What you re doing is like accusing some one of being guilty before they are innocent. Also i think the golden rule plays big time in situations like this.

Yes. I'd also do sports with them, go out drinking with them, watch films with them, go travelling with them, have them over for barbeques, talk to them on the telephone, etc

I assess the person, not the religiophilosophic position they proclaim. You won't find many atheists in prison.
