Chances are she is fine and just missing your sister. Unless she shows other signs of being ill that's probably what it is.

Does your sister live with the dog? Was the dog fine up until the moment she left?
Dogs are sensitive to change, she could just be missing a member of her pack. However if she isn't onthe rebound within 2-3 days I would consult a vet.

She's morning the loss of your sister. I know that she's only gone for a few days but the dog doesn't. This might sound silly but call your sister and have her talk to the dog. I'll bet his ears perk right up. My dog actually does this when my husband goes away. When he calls he actually talks to the dog and the dog, beleive it or not talks back, whines, yips etc. It's amazing and hilarious to watch but it makes Brandy feel better.

First I would like to know how old is Mocha? then it could be that it may too hot, depends where you live. Is she eating? Has she had enough liquids throughout the day? Has she gone to the bathroom yet? These are things that you have to look at. It could just be that she is tired.

Dogs go through ups and downs just like people, and if your sister just left, your dog is probably missing her and is feeling sad. If there is no other sign of illness, then I would just give her time.

She just misses your sister. Pets get lonely too. Whenever we leave for a vacation my dogs get horribly sad, they know when were packing too and start moping around.
Mocha will be back to normal when your sister is home again and everything is back to normal.

If you're worried about a pet, you have to take it to a vet! No one here can help - we could say it's just depression from your sister being away, but how do we know? The dog could be ill!
