I am on a budget and I feel like its hard to eat healthy on a budget. Fatty high in carbohydrate foods are always lower in cost. What would you suggest. Also.. I am trying to eat alot less and working out lately but I am always hungry. Any advise on that? Thank you in advance!

try eating 5-6 small meals every day. then it's only 3 hours til your next "meal". lean meat on whole wheat bread, hummus on pita, fresh fruits and veggies, yogurt, cottage cheese, low fat cheeses, 100 calorie packs, all are good and cheap. make sure you get enough fiber to help you feel full longer.

True, that's why folks in the ghetto are fat.
Just stay away from the reliable bread and pasta.
Stock up on beans and legumes, there are so many varieties, after a while they'll become a staple in house.
You can flavor then with a ham hock, but thats makes them more expensive, so stock up on garlic and chili powder.
You can go completly vegan, thats cheap if you do it right.
I lost about 40 or 50 lbs in 5 months, but I also lost my hair.
I would consider doing it again but this time I wouldn't be afraid to eat peanut butter-I was watching my fat back then also, big mistake.
Get to know your grocery store, go once a week and you'll learn what staples are on sale, they usually alternate.
If you going to do protein, buy chicken thighs and the cheap cuts of red meat. Buy frozen veggies, again the sale price alternates. If you can make your diet 70 to 80 percent veggies, and a little protein for metabolism, and some bread to keep the hunger pangs away, you'll be doing great. Just don't prepare pasta dishes. Stock up on the beans and seasoning.
