I tend to be a lot more brutally honest and frank in real life but I withhold it here because you can only see a small part of who I am. You can't see gestures, body language, facial expression, etc. so it's a lot easier to get offended or take things the wrong way.

In psychology, people either believe in the nature theory (that you're born that way) or the nurture theory (that you were raised that way) to determine how personalities are developed. Although breastfeeding falls into the nurture category, it really isn't likely that breast milk has any different effect on personality than formula does. It pretty much has all the same nutrients in it. So no, I don't think so.

It does make you look like a ten year old dweeb. I can't take that seriously.

I am about the same. People can see my sarcasm a bit easier in person though.

Wow, thanks for upgrading your English skills. It makes your postings so much easier to read. Using capital letters would help even more -- but hey, one step at a time.

In real life I'm a kind old grandfatherly type, with heavy Hippie overtones. I make a point of never discussing religion or anything the least bit controversial with anyone in real life. It's far too dangerous to freely discuss religious philosophy in Christian Amerika. It is only the total anonymity of this forum that makes it safe to express my true atheist sentiments on-line. In real life, I just can't force myself to trust people who deeply value the superstitions and bigotry of our bronze age ancestors and who imagine all their sins will be automatically forgiven. Such people have no morals of their own.

I'm more open on R+S, in real life I'm quiet and shy, barely saying a word. I tend to listen more than I speak. I don't form relationships easily, and I don't correspond with people in the forum very often, so that is the same in both worlds.

I'm not rude in the real world, and I don't think I'm rude here, either.

Yes, the grammar cops are annoying. But I usually spell things out anyways. I am myself here more than I can be in person in my life as it is. But in here I do tend to go a little more over the top than I would in real life. The freedom is a little intoxicateing for me here.

bout the same. The same things that tick me off on here are the same things that tick me off in RL, which are: people who blaspheme the God I worship and rascists. Anyone else, I can pretty much agree to disagree with, if it comes to that, but those two get me hot under the collar every time. lol

I am nice in the Real World... I am also nice here also... Sometimes though it may not come across that way since I am talking about the Bible and I try to speak with conviction. I don't mean to be haughty, but as you all know when are typing out your thoughts you can not put feelings and gestures in it, so feelings can not come across. But I'm nice in both, but I speak with conviction. :))))

About the same. I've tried experimenting with nicer personalities and meaner personalities online, but if I stick with a name long enough, I always end up being myself.

It's the same on and off of R&S.

With those I'm comfortable with I tend to be a little more laid back and relaxed and yes even occasionally my sarcastic & w.a. side comes out. With those I'm not I tend to be a little more serious in my answers.
