I think that many men are afraid that a women would eventually look down on him, and consider him to be lazy & lack ambition, if he makes less money.
I heard stories of a few divorced women who confessed that part of the reason that she got divorced was that she secretly resented having the pressure of being the primary bread winner who had to pay most of the bills.
Women say that money does not matter, but they lie. Women always fantasize about marring a rich man -- they never fantasize about marrying a poor college professor, nor fantasize about marrying a sensitive, loving fry cook who works down at the McDonalds.
Women are hypocrites about this.

LOL i think its a crock.. First of all.. if men only married for sex.. 1. they could have sex with mulitple partners if they were single and not the same person over and over and over again for years.. 2. ALOT of guys (not all) but alot of guys.. talk real big like they are this great wonderful sex machine, in the bedroom (especially around other guys) what they forget to tell their buddies is that alot of them cant keep up in the bedroom... their tired, they feel inadequate , they cant get it up, they go off to quickly... most women complain that their man doesnt put out enough.. so thats funny that men only marry for sex lol.. 3. Women are becoming more and more independent they have their own careers and are making their own money.. and because of the rise in divorce in this day and age they are self protecting more and becoming less and less dependent on a man to financially secure their future. A man with a bright future and financial security is a plus, not a cure all unless ur marrying someone thats a multi millionaire which most women arent lucky enough to marry someone with that much money... so i think thats a bunch of bull too.. The problems with marriage today is not sex or money.. its the not taking the vows seriously.. they take them the day they are married but tend to only live by the vows when convient to them. People get divorced these days if someone "sneezes" wrong.. or if times get tuff they just bolt because its to "hard" to stay and fix.. anyone that thinks someone that has been married for over 20 years hasnt gone through ruff patches in their life, or didnt wake up one day furious at the other is dreaming.. marriage takes work, from both people.. it takes commuication, patience, understanding, respect, appreciation for each other, and love.. sex comes and goes, money is just money.. but neither of them will sustain a marriage or kill a marriage. its the people involved that kill the marriage.. those are just small pieces in a huge puzzle.

Will your statement about women suppose to be the primary bread winner is not true it is suppose to be the man but it shouldn't matter who makes more money as long as you are working together to accomplish your goals in life. I make 3X's more money then my husband and he doesn't have a problem with it because it doesn't mean that he is less then a man and we are there to help one another

Only to p**sy men. I hope...
Alright alright, sure everyone would like to marry rich, but all things considered, I just want to be happy...truth be told I hate saying what I do I do not think it helps my game. Just like girls like the idea of doctors, guys like the idea of teachers and nurses.
But remember what Dr. Suess said "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter, don't mind".
