Why is everyone getting on her case for choosing C? Those who support creation only say that we didn't evolve from monkeys, and those who support evolution only say that all was evolved, no "sky fairy" involved.

I choose C as well, being that we were both created and evolved. Why people see the issue as either/or is mind-limiting, as if creation and evolution cannot possibly be the same thing.

We've evolved as human beings, and not from apes. In fact, early hominids were NOT apes at all, but another species, so that eases the uneasiness about coming from monkeys.

We're created, God is the Mastermind of everything that goes on in the universe. Throughout time, He is creating everything, and uses evolution to do it.

You don't know the correct answer.. How could you? Are you somehow partisan to some ultimate truth that nobody else has proof of? I think not... nobody knows the correct answer we all just believe what makes the most sense to us individually. I can tell you that evolution makes more sense than creation when you weigh all the evidence collected thus far.

PS You can't just say "I vote for creation so that makes it true!" It's ridiculous...

Honestly do you really believe that we sleep at night and live in day, and trees give oxygen and the food chain exists? By...coincidence? Do you think that we are so thoroughly detailed by chance?Do you honestly think we were little microorganisms crawling around. And if we came from apes...why did the other apes not want to join in on the higher intelligence?Do you think the reason you feel like your life is not the end of you is just something make believe? Do you not feel like you are meant for something more than just here on earth? God puts it in your heart to feel like this. If you were seperated from all media on an island do you think in your heart that you would feel it was ok to murder?DOUBTFUL it is because God gives you a conscience to know what is right and what is wrong...NOT MANDKIND. People can argue as much as they want but for someone to say that they ACTUALLY EVOLVED FROM AN APE?...obviously doesn't have much pride in themselves. They must not think they are any better or any more intelligent than a monkey who throws crap at people and eats fleas.

Isaiah 45: 23-24
23. I have sworn by my own name;
I have spoken the truth,
and I will never go back on my word:
Every knee will bend to me,
and EVERY TONGUE will confess allegiance to me.
24. The people will declare,
“The Lord is the source of all my righteousness and strength.”
And all who were angry with him
will come to him and be ashamed.

1 Corinthians 1:18-21
18.For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19.For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."
20.Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21.Since the world in all its fancy wisdom never had a clue when it came to knowing God., God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

I believe that we were created not evolved. B/c we and the world is way too complex to be an accident. And if evolution did exist (like we came from fish or monkeys) then why did it stop when it got to us. Why don't we keep evolving into something else? It doesn't make sense.

There's a massive amount of evidence to support the idea that I evolved. There is a complete lack of evidence to support the idea that I was created. Therefore, I believe I evolved.
But I am completely open to any legitimate evidence that there was a creation event. So far, I haven't seen any.

I vote both. They are not mutually exclusive, Why couldn't it be that God created us, and then we evolved into the beings we are now. Why does it have to be one or the other? It doesn't.

My dear
I think that God creates through the process of evolution. Creation and evolution has God as their prime mover - and it is still happening. Evolution is not the product of natural selection and blind chance; it has set goals and purpose. God intervenes at all the crucial stages to build it up accordingly; to be more complex and exuberantly beautiful. When humanity emerged it has been the culmination of God's effort and labour over millions of years. It was so good that God loves it so much that he sent his Son to be at one with us - It is a sure sign of Gods radical love for us and God's desire to become intimate with us and to adopt us as his Children - able to share in His Life. Scripture particularly the New Testament -is full of imagery of the new creation being shaped with his Son as the new model of what authentic humanity aught to be. We all have it within our grasp and many already rise to the challenge.

Many look at scripture and see nothing past the words they read. Science discovers the record of God's creative hand and when we knock it I can almost hear God say - with some exasperation; "Why can't so many get it yet?"

Peace

Evolved.

Your opinion doesn't matter. If you knew the correct answer as you claimed, then you would be violating the format of Y!A. That would make you a person who cannot be trusted. If you did not know the correct answer, then you are lied, anyway, again proving that your word means nothing.
