I have read somewhere that the height gained by stretching is temperary is it true?
Is stretching have disadvantages? plz help me.
i m 19 1/2 now and of 5 ft 5 inches

True height change can only come from growth of your skeletal system. While stretching may help the spaces between certain bone expand gravity will gradually pull them back together.
5'5" is a good height embrace it and enjoy life the way you are.

you are probably as tall as you will ever be. we are all about 1/2 inch talled first thing in the morning because our spine has relaxed during the night. gravity pulls us down a bit during the day. stretching doesn't really gain any height. it's very good for you to stretch. it helps your muscles and internal organs.
