"I believe men and women are made in the image of God. Man is a species. Men are Male Men and women are Female Men."

I just saw this comment and found it very interesting. How do you feel about it?

God is a spirit which for humans is hard to understand what that is ..... He had to create the plan to populate the world male and female ,but I really think that the image of God is more about the spirit of man and woman then anything else..So "The spirit of man is created in His image" After all our flesh doesn't have eternal life only our spirit.. Jesus was made in the image of God and also God's creation man... I guess he could have come as a spirit but would anyone have followed him then?

The species is called Man as opposed to Animals. Of the species called Man there is a male and female. I understand it, but we don't really refer to our species as Man anymore.

Well I think a man must've come up with the use of that word.
I would rephrase it altogether.
"Human is a species. Men are male human beings, and women are female human beings."
It is no longer funny,
but it makes more sense and is less chauvanistic.

hahahahahahaha

In a sense it's correct. We are homosapiens, or as some just like to put it "Man". But in the other sense, men is generally for the male sex.

It's quite contradictory.

Sounds right to me. The term "men" often refers to people and not just males. A lot of women missunderstand it and get offended for no reason.

obviously this is a sexist view. I honestly feel offended but that is a waste of my emotion. As long as people that hold such views do not come anywhere near me, we can both coexist happily
