It's not so much that they are taking jobs away, they are just willing to do them for much cheaper. This depresses wages and Americans cannot afford to work for such little pay. Some business' won't hire Americans to try and avoid taxes that they would be required to pay if they hired a legal citizen.
How pathetic of Americans to expect to be able to make a livable wage (sarcasm).

A farmer has three positions to fill.

We have a minimum wage and people are coming in for the job that are citizens. According to the laws, the farm would have to pay the citizens at least minimum wage, because the citizens are going to claim they worked this job for the year on their IRS documents.

The farm could do the above OR:
Hire three illegals at half the min. wage. Min. wage laws do not apply to illegals. Also, the farmowner tells the illegals that the farm is paying taxes for them so that they now need to take a tax refund.

So the farmer could hire the illegals, plus not have to report them as employees to the IRS. Then the farmer can keep the money he is spending on so called (taxes)

Which one would you chose? Pay a citizen min. wage less taxes, or pay an illegal 2 dollars less per hour AND keep the so-called taxes.

I really don't understand what you are asking...but the facts stand that illegals are indeed taking jobs from Americans. People who are just starting out need jobs such as working in the fields and flipping burgers. It is how they start to understand how a person works and the actual value of the dollar.

Perfect example was in New Orleans...they had AMERICANS doing the clean up and then two weeks later they let them all go because ILLEGALS were there to do the jobs. This is happening ALL ACROSS AMERICA. WHY? Because hiring an illegal is cheaper and they don't have to pay taxes on people who they pay under the table for.

This is always funny. It is obvious to all...... a contruction company can charge far less for a job because they hire illegals. Those who hire only legal people are at a disadvantage. The kid who wants to make a buck or two working at McDonalds wont as everybody is hispanic and feels discriminated against..... its human nature.

What is funny is that is the worst thing for hispanics to do is to say Americans won't do the job. That would be like an American in Salvador saying "none of you are capable or hardworking enough" to do this job. This of course would make people angry.

The educated hispanics could care less, are legal and know how to go about it. The uneducated go for hey it is going to happen anyway.

I applied for a job but they said all the jobs were filled. I saw the workers and they were almost all hispanic. I heard them speaking Spanish. I found out through one of the workers that there were lots of illegals working there. So if not for the illegals, who are not supposed to be here in the first place, I might have gotten the job.

Yes illegals are taking jobs from US citizens. That is a fact. Businesses would rather hire illegals because it is cheaper. Then the illegals get government benefits and we pay for that too. There is nothing pathetic about telling the truth. And there is no job that US citizens won't do.

of course they do.. MONEY talks. i worked in construction for a number of years, topped out at $21.50, not bad for construction in Colorado.. after the usual seasonal layoff, (jan-feb, 4-6 weeks), 13 of of us were permenantly layed off, the owner wanted to go in a "diff. direction",,, we were replaced by illegals, working for $7-10 per hour. Quality drop?? who knows,, but the price to the consumer didn't change,, no savings passed on...and that is going on all over this country,,yes they need jobs,, to bad it was mine.

Well when people come here illegally and are willing to work illegally for under the legal pay wage.....catch the theme? Of course businesses are going to hire them, they save thousands in not having to pay taxes. They are like cockroaches who come in with 50 family members and dirty the place up. Millions of hard working Americans go without proper healthcare because of it's expense but tax payers are footing the bills for this trash. That is what is Pathetic. Illegals come here with no respect for the country and expect people to cater to them. I wish they would make that border fence electric.

There is PROOF that the illegal alien criminals are taking jobs from Americans. Just check out the construction jobs and companies after an ICE raid. Americans WANT these jobs!
