Since Christians believe Jesus to be the literal son of "God", do you think they share the same DNA? How does "God" have DNA? Did "God" lay with Maryam, inject her with semen? If not, then "God" CREATED Jesus in Maryams womb, so Jesus is a CREATION of "God" just like the rest of us. You cannot attribute human characteristics to Something super-human, can you? Doesn't the belief in Jesus as the literal son of "God" negate the divene attributes of "God"?

So the majority of you say Jesus was a creation, like us? So he really wasn't anymore the son of "God" than any of us? So he was really just a man born of miracle who came to spread the word of God? Wow, that's exactly what Islam says about him! Thank you for proving my point!

Edit: I'm think I'm going to go on a shooting spree now...

No, but this question negates the belief in an almighty God. He's not restricted by the physical laws he created to govern the earth. If you believe he cannot have a son without having slept with Mary, you believe in a god who's much weaker than the one I believe in.

UPDATE: Jesus told his disciples he was going to die, islam teaches he didn't die. Doesn't that mean Islam teaches he wasn't truthful? If you seriously care about who he is, you can find out at:

No, God giving his own DNA would imply that God HAD DNA, and God is not physical, but Spirit.

DNA is deoxyribonucleic acid. It's made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc. God could have taken those elements and just made extra DNA, ie, extra chromosomes so Jesus could be fully man. Or he could have just commanded an embryo to form in Mary's womb. The same way he made life the first time- from scratch. God is GOD. He's a little smarter and more resourceful than we are!

You make it sound so vulgar. Jesus is God and the Son of God. His human mother was Mary who was born without sin. Mary became pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

Oh Brother. There are hundreds of books on this subject, tons of webpages also. I think this is just a "lets ask the christians a dumb question and laugh a little," question, but heres your answer anyway. The scripture says, the Holy Spirit(God) visited her, and she was with child.(impregnated) Thus, he was/is not just like us. He is god and man.

I don't equate Jesus as the "literal son of "God". Jesus is God.

He obviously had only DNA from His human parent.
Being human, He can have human attributes.
Jesus is fully God, and was also fully human.

interesting point of view. i dont believe GOD has dna, nor do i think JESUS did..because neither are made up of what we are.. like you said, they are super human.... they have their own standards.
