Hi, I have a question. I met a girl online on Craigslist, it seems like we have a lot of things in common. But she is only 18, & I am 29, but she mention in her ad that she is looking for only guys between 25 and 40.
Is she too young for me? ... The problem is I have a younger sister who is already 21, so is it okay that my possible g-f is younger than my younger sister?
I am in Canada, and i believe the legal age is 18.
We only sent 1 e-mail each so far ...
What should I do?

if she is 18 then she is legal. is she too young for you? sexually, no. but for a relationship.....probably. but then again if she is looking for an older guy maybe she is real mature for her age. so have fun and find out for yourself!

As long as you both are legal age, then I dont see the problem. I am with a guy who is 9 yrs younger then me. I am 38 and he just turned 30 (Im almost 39) We have been together for 4 yrs now. So he was 26 and I was 34

well I am 30 and my bf is 21. we have been together for a yr. so no I do not think she is too young. but that depends onthe person - is she really immature? and you need to realize that if you are looking to settle down, this would not be the girls - she will want to have many more experiences first. in Canada the laws are bizarre - with parental consent at age 16 - but no sex - she can date you at 17 and sex with parental consent - and at 18 there is no more need for consent.
by the way, i have a 24 yr old brohter - so my bf is younger than him!!

People reach a certain point in their maturity that age does not matter much. At 18 she is still young and probably in many ways immature.
She may be looking for an older man to "prove" her adulthood.
I can't say whether she is too young for you. It all really depends on the two of you.

She's kinda young but she is of legal age and if you really like each other than go for it. Age is just a number, my b.f is 30 and I'm 21 so I know from experience some younger girls like older guys.

Technically she's too young for you...but she's looking for someone older. Since she's 18 it probably means that she wants a guy that's more mature than the guys in her age. But if I were you, i wouln't take it any further.

look at it this way... the person she is now.. she will not be in 4-6 years... if it's just a fling or a short term relationship, then eh, who cares.. .she's legal.... if you want something long term.. find someone a bit older with some more life experience....

if u really like her age shouldn't b a problem...she is lookin 4 an older guy because they r more matue,.....n she found u.....juzz go 4 it n evry1 would understand...my sis is married to a guy who is 10 years older....n they r very happy together....so c age shouln't b a problem...
