There's a nasty stomach bug going around my office since about 2 weeks ago, about 70% of the people have had it, and there are people now who are just getting it.

I haven't yet shown any symptoms, and I don't want to get sick and get my family sick too... I've been on vitamin C therapy for a few years now (500mg a day) and I haven't really gotten sick, is it possible that the vitamin C is fighting off the virus?

And is it possible that I've gotten the virus, but just not showing any upset stomach symptoms?

The vitamin is good for boosting your immune system, so it probably is helping. But I wouldn't say you're in the clear until the bug is gone.

For a while, I worked in an elderly residential community. While I was there, flu got in and made most of the residents and a lot of the staff sick. I didn't, but I was lucky. What I did was change clothes before I left and put my work uniform in a plastic bag. And then when I got home, I washed my things in Lysol. And made sure everything else was clean or even sterilized.

Good luck!
