Well Courtney, I've lost 50 pounds since the first of the year. I just started watching what I ate. I would lose a little, then I'd gain a little. Then for the month of April, I went on an 800 calorie a day diet (through my doctor) and I lost 22 pounds in that month alone.
My doctor told me that I could lose 30 pounds in one month by eating 800 calories a day. Or I could lose 30 pounds in three months by eating 1200 calories a day. Well, I'm not about prolonging death, so I opted for the one month plan.
I love Bud Light but I had to give it up. I mean, one beer equals 100 calories. I'd only be allowed eight in a day......and eight beers would just **** me off. Plus I'd be starving to death. So in exchange, I went with Jim Beam and Diet Sprite.
Some days I would eat the 800 calories. Other days, I would have 1200. Then on some days, I wouldn't even have 600. I didn't sweat it. I figured it would work itself out. But I also didn't deprive myself of anything either. I'm the type that if I want a certain thing, I will eat everything (whether it's healthy or not) in sight until I get it. So, if I wanted a Snickers bar, then I'd get one. But that meant that I would have to skimp the rest of the day. If I knew I was having pizza for supper, then I wouldn't eat anything during the day.
My doctor gave me a "Calorie Counting" book that fits in your purse. Try and find one of those if you can. It pretty much has anything you could want in there and that makes it easier to keep track of what you're putting into your mouth. Be sure to keep a diary. Write down every little thing you eat. Even a Tic Tac or a piece of sugarless gum. (It's always those little things that we think are insignificant that wind up getting us.)
I didn't exercise at all though. I can only imagine how much more I'd have lost if I had. Anyway, losing weight is a mind thing. Once you make up your mind to do it, the rest is easy. Trust me.
I started back yesterday on the 800 calorie thing. I'd like to lose another 30 at least. And I will. I'm pretty bull-headed sometimes.
I am sure you will do fine and if I can offer any encouragement, let me kknow. I know how hard this journey can be. Good luck to you sweetie!!!

Its not authentic you cant try this on an identical time. discover daily calorie intake calculator on the internet, enter all your stats and it will inform you methods many energy you prefer an afternoon to maintain, take off 3 hundred-400cal off that selection and thats how a lot you may desire to lose. consume 5-6 small food an afternoon (consume each and every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism) 5-8 servings of vegetables and fruit an afternoon 8 glasses of water have complicated carbs for breakfast - they provide you power have protein (lean meat, legumes and so on) for dinner - upkeep muscle cardio exercising 4-6 cases a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because of the fact the 1st 20-30min physique burns carbs and in straightforward terms then starts burning fat), gentle weight guidance (greater muscle=swifter metabolism) dont eat meals that are made up of white flour (white bread, truffles, pasta and so on.), sugar loaded meals (cookies, icecream, candy and so on) and not something fried, oily. ofcourse you may smash your self each and every now and then with a sprint manage:)

Your body likes to burn carbohydrates for energy. If you really want to loose weight fast cut out your carbs. When your body begins to burn calories to fuel itself, it will have to burn fat if no carbs are available. Also, don't skip breakfast. Your metabolism is what burns the calories and this doesn't get turned on until you eat. You don't want to starve yourself because your body stores fat when you go too long without eating. Several small healthy meals a day work best. Also, it wouldn't hurt to take a multi-vitamin to make sure your body is getting all the nutrients it needs in order to have the energy to exercise. Eat healthy, cardio (increasing your heart rate and keeping it up) exercise 30 min a day (if approved by your doctor).
