Maybe say that in the ad, and make it a requirement for a response.

well you have heard the ole saying. Some men may have snow on top and fire down below. Never know you might find a hottie. Don't judge a book by its cover. But then of- course there are just plain ole prever's out there. But remember, some people say what the hell. Better to ask and Try then never to have tried. Try posting some where else. I'm 45 but married but if I divorced I would not want a 45 year old. Sorry ladies. But most women want older men as well. less games I hear. Good luck, just don't respond if you can see there age and if not, remember you put yourself out there so just hang and deal with it and tell them sorry and buzz off. The same you would do at a bar if they asked you to dance and you did not like there age or looks or whatever

At 29 yrs old you are "eeewing" 40 yr olds? Is it the age or the particular men that are dislikable to you? I'm 29, and I've dated several men in their 40s. They are definately worth dating. They know how to treat a woman. I'd possibly try giving one a chance. Otherwise, just send them a kind no thank you and move on.

Haha.... just say something specific in your profile about it. If that doesnt work then i dont know what to tell you.
Its not like your old or anything, go out and meet somenone at a bar or a club. well maybe thats not the best place to meet someone you actually want to be with. ummm you could always try match.com or something.

The same thing used to happen to me- thats why I just don't even use Yahoo messenger or yahoo personals anymore.
ON TOP OF THAT- It happens to me when I'm out in public- especially when I'm at work. I'm only 19 and these old men who are old enough to be my GRANDFATHER propose to me and ask me out and I'm just like- eww!.

You simply choose the ice breaker reply that says "Thanks but I just don't think we're a good match" and then delete their message/icebreaker to you and move on.
No big deal...a lot of people have preferred characteristics or age ranges that aren't set in stone. Don't "ewwww" these guys for being attracted to you, even if you don't reciprocate. Just be polite and move on...it takes some courage to risk rejection, even for the older men. At least respect that they tried. ☺

I second that "ewww"...Yeah, I had that happen to me when I was your age and it is disgusting. I don't know why older men think that they would have anything in common with someone who is 20+ years younger than they are and I could never see myself in a physical relationship with them either. Makes me puke...

You should talk to these old guys. They are nice men who only want what is best for you. Forget the young ones.

Your stuck with the old balls. LOL. That's just the way it is in the internet dating scene. You should probably be thinking about licking the old mcnuggets.
