Liquids and gels must be 3 oz or less and packed in a clear 1 qt zip lock bag. You can get the complete list of what is and is not allowed on the aircraft with you at the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/
Hope this helps and have a great trip!

As long as the deodorant and sunblock are 3 oz or less, you'll be fine if you put them in a 1 quart ziploc bag that you have out and put into the bin at the security line. But, that includes things like mascara, that aren't really liquid, but that they'll throw away if they find it. Also, I just flew out of Philly 2 weeks ago, and the security line was really really long. So, just make sure you get there in time. I'm sure it's not always long, but it was that day.

As long as each package of liquid is 3 oz or less in size and they all fit into one 1-quart size ziploc bag, you can take whatever you want. If the deodorant is a solid and so is the chapstick, you're fine - they can just go in your regular makeup bag.

All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in three-ounce or smaller containers. Larger containers that are half-full or toothpaste tubes rolled up are not allowed. Each container must be three ounces or smaller.
All liquids, gels and aerosols must be placed in a single, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. Gallon size bags or bags that are not zip-top such as fold-over sandwich bags are not allowed. Each traveler can use only one, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag.
Each traveler must remove their quart-sized plastic, zip-top bag from their carry-on and place it in a bin or on the conveyor belt for X-ray screening. X-raying separately will allow TSA security officers to more easily examine the declared items.
There are exceptions for baby formula, breast milk, and other essential liquids, gels, and aerosols, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

the only way it might desire to be actual became if her candy became liquid or gel like, because of the fact no drinks could be carried on a airplane anymore (because of the $%^&* terrorists) in the event that they are over 3 oz.. My mom wanted me to hold an apple pie abode on my flight that she'd offered for me, so I observed as the airline and asked them if that became ok. They mentioned the TSA protection adult men might probable take it away because of the fact of each and every of the liquid/gel in the pie.
