I would stick with the job... and then quit when you're 16. Sure your boss will not like it when you quit, but it's your life, not his.
I say stick with the job even though you don't like it. It's just for the summer, right? You're being paid, right? (Who doesn't want a little extra cash?)
When I graduated from high school, I spent the summer before first year of college working in a sandwich shop. I hated it. The boss was mean. The pay was $5.00 per hour... and I had to do the prep, cooking, cash register, clean up the place and close up.... all for FIVE DOLLARS per hour. What cheap labor.
BUT... after having that job for 1 1/2 months.... I was really motivated about going to college.... on to bigger and better things. That's why I stuck with the job, because now if I'm ever unhappy with something in life or my work... I just have to think about that job, and I am really grateful for what I have and what I'm NOT doing... LOL
I'm not all giddy about my current job as an engineer (I think that is rare to LOOOVVE your job such that you jump out of bed in the morning and say, "BOY! I can't WAIT to go to work!!!" LOL).... but I am doing LESS manual work... and I get paid LOTS more...
Maybe you want to consider some baby-sitting? I'm mean you are only 15... so you don't really need a job to support a family. This way you help someone else out, you also get some cash, you get some "experience", and you also have free days off to just be a teenager...

Make a list and write down the pros and cons of the job. Give the job a try; don't just quit once you started because that doesn't look good on any future resume or job application.
If you stick with it for a few months or so and you still don't like it, talk to your mom and tell her you're not comfortable with the job.
In the question, you didn't mention what kind of job you do. If it's fast food, then consider it opportunity (I worked fast food while I was in college). It sucks but you get good experience.

depends how bad do you want the money? or need the money to be spending and hanging out with ur friends, movies or whatever? cuz it sounds like ur mama doesn't wanna be an atm anymore and that's her right now that u can work :P so quit if you really hate it but prepare for a no money spendin summer :P which isn't that bad. but part of the real world is dealing with stuff we don't like. and you are getting older, and if you keep the job you'll at least have a longer reference, hopefully a good one. just...either way if you quit now or wait til ur 16, put in ur 2 weeks notice, and be nice the whole time so you'll at least have a good reference under ur belt when you apply for a better job when ur 16

To "like" your job is rare. This is a lesson in how to live in the grown up world. Keep the job, do your best, make some money and stick with it. You can't judge whether you like a job in the first few days, or even weeks. Realistically, you should give it several months. And don't quit just because you turn 16; quit when you find another job to replace this one, and give notice to your boss.

If you want to quit, you can quit! Your boss cannot force you to stay, it is you who decides. I mean you can't look at everyones feeling, you have to do what is best for you. If you try to show off or be nice, and caring you may end up making your life miserable because you are doing something you don't want to do, so you will feel stress while doing this work and regret, so don't make this mistake. If you have a chance take it, before it is too late! I would stay because I need money and I am fifteen.

Some jobs are really sucky and seem to take up a lot of time at first. After the first month, when you get the hang of things, things start to look up and you realize you actually like you job. Trust me, I've had three jobs and with all three, that how mine started.

I'd agree with your mom on this. Aside from the money you'll be better able to assess what you don't like. Too, any experience is GOOD experience generally. Chances are you'll hold several jobs in your lifetime so don't sweat it, let it, you know what I'm saying?

I would hang in there. Since you know your going to quit when you turn 16 have a little fun with it, smack someone with bag full of chicken. Whats the worse that could happen, you get fired from a part time job that you don't like. Jobs are never going to be set up to be fun, they are what you make them!

Take the job.
With an attitude like that you're going to get fired anyway, so you may as well make some money before you get the boot.

If you can get through the summer without the cash, then you might as well. If not you at least try to make the best of it.
