Whole milk is about 3-4% fat. Most adults I know drink semi-skimmed milk because the fat content is much lower - I think about half of the fat of whole milk - and therefore is deemed healthier. Skimmed milk is the lowest of all, less than 1% fat in that. It's all a matter of taste. I personally drink skimmed milk, and the idea of drinking whole milk now is gross. It just tastes completely different.

Wholeilk is laoded with fat...bad fat and it's bad for you. Skim milk has the fat removed..making it not as bad but milk as a whole is not that great to drink regularly.

whole milk has more calories but is better for you.
people are always trying to think of ways to cut calories so I guess that is why they choose skim over good whole milk.

i think that yes everyone is becoming more aware of what they are eating and drinking. me personally used to have whole milk but when i had to get skimmed because theyd ran out at my shop i found i liked that and carried on buying it.

I hate semi skinned milk like you I think its tasteless & a cup of tea looks awful so its normal milk for me.Love the cream.
