um...dude you type questions on here that you may be to afraid or embarassed to ask the people you know or you cant find so we might know

Wow - that's very philosophical. I think Heidegger wrote a book or an essay with a title like that. I think we do need to redefine what questioning really is. Is it just an interrogative, or is it a whole posture, a whole way of standing before the world? I think the true Question is a stance before the world of openness. Bearing your lack before the world humbly and standing attentive to the possibility of the lack being filled.

A question is caused by a lack of an answer...

When you have a lack of an answer, then you need to find a way to get other people to give it to you and, poof, thus is born the question.

My personal favorite past time is to give said questions to those of scientific minds and those of religious minds...let them duke it out for 10 rounds and then see which one is still standing...all answers are like history, written by the victor.

A question is a series of words constucted and spoken to another individual to gain information, usually information which you dont already possess.
