Well if you are talking about Joel Olsteen I guess you could say that if you leave out the reality of hell, sin, and death then that would be the compromise. However, I like Joel's ministry and what God has done through his ministry. I just think that if people aren't reminded every now and then of the consequences that lay ahead of those who don't believe they've sinned or even what sin is so that they can see the egregious error they've made in the site of God they'll never repent for their sins. That's a big problem because Salvation hinges on repentance and acceptance of Christ Jesus.

Im an atheist but I like Joel Osteen, I think he seems like a good person, christian or not. Jesus is just someone who I've heard a bunch of conflicting stories about, someone who many have been killed in his name. I believe Joel Osteen had the fortune of being raised by gentle, nurturing parent, and being born with a kind disposition. If Joel had never heard of Jesus, I imagine he would still be a very similar person.

No matter if a man is accepted or not by the media and culture the true gospel will still need to be preached.
Jesus will continue even if a man or culture turns from the truth.

Jesus made it clear in the Bible that those who abuse children would be better off they were never born.
I think Jesus is far more culturally relative and relevant than anyone who places a globe of the world (like Enron) and manipulates the words of the Bible to defend materialism and sensual pleasures than the hard work of faith.

Jesus Christ became in assessment to any human before or on the grounds that. Please do not evaluate Our Lord and Savior to the two of those charlatans or to any human, Christian or in any different case. study the Bible to be certain what Jesus became like. Pray for the Spirit to bare Him to you. do not fall prey to those televangelists who're attempting to learn off the Lord. the only time in the Bible that Jesus have been given offended became with human beings like them (the moneychangers in the temple.) i'm so sorry that those clowns are the excellent occasion of a Christian and an evangelist which you will arise with in case you're honest. And in case you're are being sarcastic, then i'm so sorry that individuals like this are providing you with and the devil ammunition against the Christian faith. i've got faith like i'd desire to characteristic the the present learn of those evangelists' funds is a gadget getting used with the help of those against Christianity with a view to objective and close down non-income status of all non secular companies. it somewhat is an exceptionally risky course, so inspite of my distate for their variety of religion, i'm very against the government getting in contact right here.

Well, I hope there's not a correct answer. I wouldn't want Christian mythology to become acceptable to mass media again.
