A lot of women play games because they think they are being cute. Or they are testing you. Or even more, showing off to whoever else is with you guys. "See look what he does when I do this" kinda thing. Not ALL women play games and some that do, don't know it. Most know that the guy doesn't enjoy it. That's the testing part. They are pushing you to see how far, only most are really bad at it and end up loosing the guy in the process.

It has to do with drama, after all look at the shows they watch, soap operas speak for themselves. But even things such as Grey's Anatomy and ER, which are typically women dominated shows, are highly dramatic not only with the patients but the love interests that bounce back and forth, the marriage torn apart by infidelity. Women often use drama and games to figure out "how you really feel". Realize I'm not validating this behaviour because the only thing those games do are frustrate their partner. We are supposed to truly trust the girl but yet they have the right (in their mind) to test their partner's trust. Chances are the girls you've been dating are pretty young and immature. Find one without all the games and drama, I did, and I'm much happier for it.

I believe that it's more or less a sign of their maturity level.People who don't know who they are like to play on others feelings with little or no regard.Maybe they were played by someone else,and they vowed to never be hurt again.These games are played by both sexes.It really is a sign of weakness,and not wanting to expose their vulnerabilities.

People play games I think because they are too scared to keep it real or they need therapy help. Also, sheltering their heart against all pain that could hurt them. Who knows why people do what they do, I haven't figured it out yet or received a straight answer. LOL

because it is a learned trait. You practice what your parents taught whether they meant to or not. You watched them interact with each other growing up. You also learn from your previous relationships. I hate games, too. Just go into the first date saying you hate games. Then the girl will be more aware of it.

It's all a game, at least in the early stages. There are rules and strategies. Hard to execute the strategies sometimes.
Guys goof on the ladies all the time.

I love playing scrabble & guess who. I always ask for clues coz i get stuck.
