What r some of the things that show we r in union in thought,
Or purpose?
i.e.....
The Christ came n died for our sins.
The Father in heaven dispatched him.
We all want to be safe, from violence.
We all want peace.

The differences in beliefs if the various Christian groups are mainly the ways in which these groups would like to demonstrate to the public their "love" and "faith" in God. Otherwise, at the level of moral principles, they are in agreement. What caused these differences?. Personal pride of religious leaders!

being in oneness with Christ, we cannot pick and choose what we want to do. they main thing Christ did on earth was to tell people about the kingdom so to be one with Christ a person would have to tell others about the kingdom. he gave his apostles instruction at Matthew 10:1-15

You asking what are the essentials that all born again believers can agree upon-
1-we are all sinners, who fall short of the glory of God
2- God still desires a relationship with us
3- He sent His Son Jesus to be born of a virgin.
4- He was sent to earth for one purpose- to die on the cross for our sins- and to raise from the dead so that we can have victory over death and sin
5- He will return one day for His own-and at that time every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Anything that Jesus said we should all be in agreement about.

Things like forgiveness, love, serving others, charity, responsibility, kindness, compassion, doing what is right.

We should all agree with these ideas.

What binds us together is the cross. Everything else is secondary and comes through diligent study. God Bless!

For a point for all of the points of "sameness" there are some scriptures that make it important what flavor of Christianity you follow. Because as with Ancient Israel, Chrisindom (the many varied Christian religious groups)

Matt 7:22,23 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?' And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me you workers of lawlessness.

So many Christians will profess to know Christ, and yet he will not know them... Why is that? Maybe because most Christians profess Christianity to the point they are comfortable, but yet ignore all the other input Christ gives on how to live our lives. Why was it important for first century Christians to go Door to Door? To spread the work of God's coming Kingdom so people could come to an accurate knowledge of God, and the one he sent his Christ. John 17:3

Accurate Knowledge, how does one achieve accurate knowledge, by being guided by ones who have such knowledge, and comeing to a personal understanding by personal study Acts 8:26-39

So who is involved in a worldwide teaching work going door to door just as Christ commanded his first century apostles to do the Jehovah's Witnesses. Matt 28:19-20

Many choose to worship God as if he were some sort of "Celestial Waiter" to be called upon when needed, and dismissed when they are finished with him. This is a dangerous attitude, because God has the right to set the standards, as Universal Sovreign, and Creator he has more than an ample right to make commandments upon us, but this is where we can show we love God... 1 John 5:3

So all this sameness comes from the fact that some pay for the right to have their Ear's tickled (so they can hear what they want to hear, not what God wants them to hear). They Pay the Preacher, and if they do not like what they hear they buy themsleves another preacher. Most people feel God needs to fit their busy life, but it is the other way around we need to make our lives fit the needs/wants of our Creator.

Agreement with dirrerences is very different then what God has always wanted he used to gather his people together at Festivals to have them in one place to hear a unified teaching. Today his people are unified in their learning program. I can go anywhere on the planet (where the preaching work is not under ban by law) and walk into the Kingdom Hall, and as long as I am not late I can know exactly what songs will be sung, what lesson is being taught, I can follow along (even if I cannot speak the language), if I can find a translator I can answer... We as a peoples are unitedly being taught by God through his son, and the little flock worldwide. It is the same everywhere Why? because Jehovah God is the same everywhere.

And just as in Ancient Israel when Jeremiah was proclaiming a calamity was going to befall his people the Israelites, Jehovah's Witnesses are proclaiming an unpopular message, to please find protection in God for his day of Anger will surely be upon us as a thief in the night, and just as Christ said about the signs of the Son of Man's return... These things are clear to those who have come to an accurate knowledge of Truth so seek Truth, and God's Righteousness, so as you may be sheltered from his sight in the day of his Anger.

You can feel free to go to www.watchtower.org, and request a free book "What does the Bible REALLY Teach?" it examines what the Bible teaches on many elementary, and some not so elementary levels.

I think all Christians should be able to agree that Jesus Christ is our savior, that we cannot have any hope of eternal life without Him.
