When you're at a traffic light and the guy next to you has bass loud enough to vibrate cars 200 miles away! Whoever wrote that, I agree!

A small child repeating the same word or phrase over and over in a sing-song tone while I'm trying to have a quiet meal at a non-family atmosphere restaurant. Like so:

"MOM-mee (pause, 2, 3, 4...). MOM-mee. (pause, 2, 3, 4...)MOM-mee. (pause, 2, 3, 4...). MOM-mee. (pause, 2, 3, 4...). MOM-mee..." (continue ad nauseum through salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert).

BTW, I have infinitely more patience for such sounds in a family-type restaurant (fast food, IHOP, the greasy spoon breakfast place in my neighborhood, Applebees, heck, even Benihana or the Cheesecake Factory). Elsewhere, when I'm trying to enjoy a nice night out with my honey, the sound is like running a drill into my brain.

People dragging there feet!!! Why can't you just pick them up?
People chewing with their mouth open. That smack drives me up the wall.
Other people typing. I don't know why, I just don't like it. I suppose it is the constant "tick clickclickc tip tick tic tip tip click click."
UH, my dogs whining and screamin just because there was knock at the door.
The sounds of children playing. I mean the screaming and yelling!!!
The sound of my computer mouse. It just clicks like grandfather clock loud!! Especially at night when it is quite.
There are millions. I am a bit sound sensitive, i suppose you could say............

When you are driving in your car with the windows open and you have to listen to a screeching "EL" train go by. It's so loud and unpleasant. A close second would be all the morons engaging in public cell phone conversations, too.

with the exception of Psycho's answer everything everybody else has listed drives me up the proverbial wall!!! Snoring makes totally bonkers and being at a stop light at some twit having their bass thumping enough to make the cream in my grocery bags turn to butter makes me homicidal!!! The list could go on..............

yeah, I guess I'm a tad "sensitive"

The garbage cart that comes around the office for dumping the garbage has a wheel that whines/screeches/needs to be oiled and it gives me a headache.
Also. The "30 and under" mosquito ring tones make me want to smack the little teenage brats.

I've always had hearing problems and I hate most offensive loud noises where I can't hear another person talking.

Revving of car engines, super loud music in clubs and pubs,
squealing and screaming children are my pet hates.

They are building a huge hospital 2 blocks from my house (yes, the hospital is smack dab in a residential neighborhood). Five years of jackhammering (what in God's name could they be jackhammering after 5 years?!!) has driven me crazy.

Loud car stereos and people snapping gum in a library or movie theatre-these are the most annoying.

Exactly. I can literally go insane with the sound of chewing. That and when they even attempt to speak while at it.
