i have an apartment, so i dont have a grill, and i love my meats!
i know i can grill a steak, burger or chicken in a pan, but its just not as good as cooking on the grill.
i also have a george foreman grill, but all it is is just a sloped pan so the juices drain out. i end up with really dry meat that way.
does anyone have any tips for how i can cook my meat and still have it be really juicy and not crusted on the outside?

Well you will never 100% get that grilled flavor but you can use your stoves broiler, it's the hottest setting and is the closest heat your gonna get to an open flame, you just have to be careful because it does cook alot faster than regular oven temps. You can also buy seasonings that give you smoked flavor.

Well, I can't imagine how one could cook over a grill and not have the meat turn out crisped on the outside. That's the purpose of grilling - to quickly sear the outside, which in turn seals more of the juices inside! As for your Foreman grill - sounds like you forgot you're supposed to marinate your meat and pre-heat that thing before putting the meat on. I've been using a Foreman grill since they came out and never had the problem you mention (thanks, George!)
You can purchase and try a grill pan - a frying pan with raised ridges like on your Foreman grill. They can be had in pre-seasoned cast iron and in aluminum with non-stick coating.

Pre -heat oven to 400
Get a cast iron grill pan w/ the raised ribs
Season before use
Warning !Your kitchen will get smoky
Get the pan hot
Place the good side of the steak on the ribs -cook for 3 minutes
Using tongs lift and rotate steak 90 degrees of yaw
Back on ribs and allow to cook another 3 minutes
Flip steak over
Put steak and pan in the oven and cook until desired degree of doneness is reached
If you did that right, you should have a perfectly cross hatched grill marks on your steak. Mmmmm Good
Warning: The pan in the oven is HOT !!!

One way you can get the traditional grill marks is to use a grill saute pan. The meat won't be cooking in the juice, but it will save the juice at the bottom of the pan.
Here's a link for one for sale:

To get the taste of charcoal-grilled foods, add a dash of Liquid Smoke while cooking. Use sparingly, as it has a very strong flavor. You could also try using the broiler option on your oven, putting the meat as close to the heat source as possible. You have to really watch it this way, so it doesn't burn the outside and leave the inside raw.

A cast iron grill pan works great. You use it right on your stove top burners. It gives you the grilled look and it wont make the entire surface of your meat crusty.

try this...if you don't mind your beef already cut up before you eat it,cut it in big cubes sprinkle on mrs. dash garlic and herb seasoning,I usually use some kind of seasoning salt with mine to,but you don't need to because it will be good without ,then use about 4 to 5 tablespoons of butter in the pan and saute' it until it is the way you like it,it will turn out to be very juicy.this is the only way I cook beef if I am not grilling it.

get yourself a grill for your stove. And when you cook meats always brown the meats on high then lower the temperature. That insures moist meat.
