Aside from treating others with respect, being generous, kind, loving, and accepting, I also happen to be a little bit preoccupied with sex and the bar scene. And I kinda figure I'll always be that way.. lol. Christians and atheists, whats going to happen to me?????

To the girl that said I'm seeking attention--maybe I am, but only because I'm so friggin bored. :)

To the one that said I'm young--yesI I am 25 years old. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. I feel good about myself. I love going out and meeting other people like me.

However I also take religion seriously. Sorry for offending anyone I may have.

To the girl who said I was ugly and chubby.. what the hell? lol.. I never asked for your opinion.. nor did I ever claim to be beautiful. At least I'm not hiding behind an avatar like you are.

To everyone else-- I really think the answers I have gotten have been overall positive and pretty much in agreement with what I think.

Furthermore, I am not promiscuous, I am engaged to the love of my life, but we happen to have a lot of crazy times, lol. That's all. As far as the alcohol goes, I am not an alcoholic. I just like to go out and be social and catch a buzz.

Linz, you aren't going to Hell 'cause there is no bleeking Hell, it's not a thing in this world but a Christian S+M fantasy, and if you weren't a good person, which is a helluva fine thing to be, and on the wild side, what would you be? It's you, it's you, and, daughter, you should never NOT be YOU! Enjoy life. As the damn cliche goes, This is not a dress rehearsal.

From the Christian perspective, if you're promiscuous and indulge in alcohol frequently, you're tainting your body and your soul; Christianity says you can be forgiven of your sins if you go to confession and ask for forgiveness. You respectfulness, generosity, acceptance, and kind and loving countenance are you saving grace. I don't think you're going to hell, but from a moral perspective, people commonly put the bad in a person above the good, so if you have sex with many partners and are a fixture at the bars, to some people your kindness and generosity mean nil. It's one thing to have fun and meet new people, it's another to cross that line.

Ask yourself how you want others to perceive you and if your actions give some a skewed view of you. Then ask yourself if you want to change that. Good luck!

You know Linz, you are setting yourself up for some serious problems. I'm a man and I know how men think and that is a MAJOR part of your problem. The environment and lifestyle you describe is an open invitation for some good for nothin man to come along and sweep you off your unwitting feet. THEN the nightmare will begin and seem to continue forever. Even if you are having fun right now, please don't get comfortable with that lifestyle, it is deadly. You can have just as much fun in the LORD with a lot less pain and regret.

If you follow any religion literally, you are pretty much guaranteed to go to hell. Lifting a finger on a Sunday or eating meat at the wrong time of day will send you packing.

Look, as long as you live a good life according to your conscience and avoid murder, theft, rape, etc. then you'll be fine. If there is a god that punishes me for doing that just because i didn't read a book some dude wrote 2000+ years ago, i don't think i want to believe in him in the first place.

Hey, I'm a Christian and I have been preoccupied with sex and the bar scene in the past. I even work at a bar a couple nights a week, just to bring in the extra cash. I never worry about the eternal fate of my soul, just enjoy life. :)

According to the bible, sex outside of marriage is adultry. Being drunk is also not a good thing. I think you are going through a phase. Do you feel guilty for sleeping around & getting drunk? If so, you need to try to stop. Even if you don't feel guilty you need to try to stop. Those are sins and God hates it when we sin on purpose while knowing it is wrong. I don't sleep around (been married for 37 years) but I have always been known as a "wild child". I have to really watch myself because I have a tendency to go overboard on different things. It is a daily turning over of my selfish will to God. I am not condeming you - I understand what you are going through. In order to go to Heaven you need to be a Christian - accept Christ into your heart and become a NEW person in Christ. Follow his teachings and the commandments (don't commit adultry). Try to live a life that is pleasing to him. Be pure and set an example.

Here are my views on sex and the bible.

The bible says the wages of sin are death. The bible does not mean you will go to hell or suffer the wrath of God due your sins. It is meant literally. There are some things on earth if you go through will make your life a living hell and the consequences from the misuse of sex is one of them

Sex is a gift from God that is meant to be enjoyed (not to be ashamed of) , yet be aware of the consequences of your actions and know you do run the risk of suffering them .

Aids, herpes and all sorts of nasties are out there and people who have them will still find people to have sex with even through it is irresponsible to so. No, there is no visible signs or symptoms to detect if they are one of these irresponsible people. This is a common problem, do not delude yourself thinking it won't happen to you. The statistics are against you, for STDs is at an all time high. A condom will not protect against herpes and many other things. Not to mention pregnancy if he does not pull out in time or the condom breaks.

My advice is find a boyfriend and get tested and have fun. When that relationship ends, find find another and repeat process. A bunch of one night stands is a ticket to disaster.

The Scripture says, "Judge not lest ye be judged. For with what measure ye meet, it shall be measured unto you again". It means that we cannot judge the condition of another person's soul under grace because the WAY in which we would judge them (morality) would be used against us by God. There are things that you speak of in your life that I wouldn't condone because I think they're not right to do, but if I try to make you our to be a hopelessly bad person because of them, I'm going to be judged by that same standard! You have a chance while you still live and believe in Him to get the spiritual junk out of your life, whatever it may be, and I pray it works out for you!

Eventually, you'll grow bored of the same old scene and will have your caring personality to fall back upon.
I am somewhat puzzled as to why people believe that Christians must be stuffy, stodgey old people who listen to opera.

I like to dance (though I don't dance well at all,) have an occassional drink, and enjoy making love to my wife. I just moderate my behavior and try not to make a fool out of myself. :)

Well I cant say who is and not going to hell but I will say this. I dont think someone in a true relationship with Christ would do those types of things. Especially the sex part. Ever hear of the Ten Commandments? Thou shalt not commit adultry (fornication). Just a few things to think about. Remember those of us in a relationship are not perfect, just forgiven. And to stay out of hell we must repent and be baptized and give our lives to Jesus Christ. Peace out..........
